This was probably our best stay in all Italy, small little town in Amalfi walkable to the beach, restaurants and chapel. The room was beautiful and clean. The staff was so kind and the continental breakfast was more like a heavenly buffet with more than expected.
Thank you Maria for all your hospitality. We will definitely be back next year for more than a night.
"We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The location was perfect, right in the heart of everything, making it easy to explore the area. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, always friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautifully designed, comfortable, and added to the overall experience. We totally enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay!"
Turned up at B&B to discover loose pipes outside the building which was very unattractive. Lift is very small can only take 2 ppl and 2 small cases. Greeted by host and shown round apartment.
Lovely spacious room, comfortable bed, plenty storage space, mini fridge with complimentary water and juice. Tea and coffee (didn’t get refilled next day) safe in room.
Bathroom well presented, towels decent size. Downfall was hairdryer wouldn’t stay plugged in. When using it it became loose and switched off… very frustrating!!
No breakfast facility on premises. This was NOT stated on the booking it just said continental breakfast included and the times. If we had known that we had to go to a bar further down the street for breakfast we wouldn’t have stayed here as that is not suitable for us. No luggage storage available so cant leave cases if your too early or if like us had a flight later at night.
The street at night is quite dark and quiet when walking up the road, felt a bit creepy at times.
Host didn’t come to say goodbye which I personally thought was a little rude as previous places we’d stayed in that week the owners made a point of saying farewell on leaving. Wasn’t told what had to happen with keys. Found out after I’d messaged and got a reply half an hour later by then we’d already left. If I hadn’t text I’m unsure if we would have heard from owner. Bit of a palava getting out as you need to use key for gate then run back with your key to room on leaving day.
The personal contact to the owners who lead the small hotel completely by themselves was extraordinary.
Parking slot was already reserved at the parking place on the other side of the road when we arrived.
For breakfast there were daily freshly homemade cakes served as well as fresh bread, salami and cheese.
We highly recommend this small unique location!
