The two gentlemen, who worked the evening shift, were wonderful. First impression is important and they definitely gave the hotel a good first impression. In fact, most of the people working were so polite and accommodating.
The pool was great, but very busy in the evenings and a lot of unsupervised teenagers making the waterslides unsafe for the younger kids. The layout of the pool area was, for lack of better wording, dumb. Limited seating, blindspots everywhere, as an adult with younger kids we had to stand in the pool at the bottom of the waterslides to keep an eye on the kids.
The rooms were clean and spacious, but you can hear your neighboring rooms and you can hear the people above you everytime they move. The rooms could use a little attention, in one of our rooms, the microwave didn't work and there were holes in the closet doors, in another room the sink didn't drain properly and had a foul odor, in the last room we had the toilet ran every few minutes.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel for individuals who want a quiet stay, lots of children (because of the waterslides) so noise should be expected and tolerated by all. I would recommend this hotel for families who want their kids to have endless hours of fun in the pool, and want a comfortable, spacious room.
Overall, we really enjoyed our 4 night stay and will probably visit again, once the kids are a bit older.
