Couldn’t recommend this place enough we had the family apartment and its gorgeous and so modern, we was over the moon will be definitely be booking again.
Thank you for our last minute stay due to boiler problems, super comfy and very friendly efficient staff member who helped us. Will definitely recommend here.
We loved this property. The apartment was newly decorated, clean and large and very comfortable. Easy to locate and close to lots or facilities. The only downside was being next to an A road so it could do with double glazing but aside from that it was perfect. We'd definitely go again.
Just what we needed for a stop on the way to Cornwall. Easy check in and out, the room had everything we needed and the bathroom was more than adequate. But…please please replace the mattress in room14, the springs protruded and it had lost its cushioning, leading to an uncomfortable night. Such a shame when everything else was good.
It had an old fashioned charm but with modern updates. Towel warmer in the bathroom was a nice touch. Great place to eat up the road at an English Pub in walkable distance.
Just want to say we originally booked for one night but our plans changed , the venue was very helpful when it came to booking us for the extra night and there was not trouble . Plenty of space in the room and we thought it was a nice touch to have a little fridge with some bottles of water in it .
Considering what you would pay for a Premier Inn or Travelodge this was excellent value for money and provided a really good room for our needs .
If you want to get away from the city for a couple of days , as we did then this is perfect .
Added touches like having plates/cutlery etc even a microwave available in the communal area was fantastic.
Plus this area was kept very clean.
We were running late to arrive by 7pm ( end of check in) and we were unable to call.
We received a text message with check in details so that put our minds at rest.

Although named 'New Forest Lodge', it's a small place positioned slightly away from the New Forest. A good drive to most places, at the northern end of the New Forest with some parking. With an Indian restaurant next door, that takes the parking on a busy night. On booking with Expedia we expected a 'family room', but on arrival were placed into a 'twin'. This gave the hotel a bit of a problem, and we are beyond pushing beds together. The hotel manager moved us to another double room which was better. The rooms are clean and tidy, with tea, coffee, kettle etc and small TV. The bathroom although dated was clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. In the reception area was a stock of plates and cutlery with dining seating and a vending machine, if you brought your own food, it was handy. For preparing packed lunches etc. the iron was also kept there. Overall it was very clean, tidy and safe and a good standard of budget accommodation
It was a lovely room and the staff were helpful. The location was great as expected.
The only complaint was that the Bath and the bathroom floor had a lot of black hairs, which probably came off the shower curtain.
