Beds were comfy. Elevator was broken, had to lug bags upstairs. No one offered to help. Room needed a table and 2 chairs. There was room for this. But it is in a good location, one block off of Main St, so it was quiet. Plenty of parking.

The biggest gripe I had about this place was that the elevator was broken when I was there. I was given options of floor levels but they said the first 2 floors would be noisy to various degrees so I opted for the 3rd floor to avoid the noise but didn’t like that the elevator was broke after long hiking in the National Parks. Also they didn’t offer daily room service unless requested which was another inconvenience as I was there for a week and returned to untidy rooms several times. Finally they didn’t have any laundry facilities like the other places I was at so I had to take my laundry to a 24/7 place that didn’t feel right. Aside from that, it was an okay place.

They have remodeled or are in the process of remodeling this property to update it. The rooms are very small and the building is not well insulated so you are likely to hear the people above you. The elevator was not operating at the time we stayed. the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean And there is a pool. It’s an affordable stay if all you’re gonna do is sleep and location is a good proximity to downtown.

Great stay!

Great experience at this hotel. Friendly welcome at check in, the hotel even loaned us a cooler to help keep our water cool for our long days out at the national parks! Rooms in good condition and a small but nice pool and hot tub area. Great location for walking to bars/restaurants in Moab and Moab is a great base for seeing the local parks, top tip would be visit dead horse point state park as well as the national parks as it is fantastic! Only slight negative would be during our visit the elevator was broken, however we were informed of this at check in and asked if we minded being on a higher floor and having to use the stairs, which was no problem for us.

Beautiful experience!

Comfortable, updated, complimentary Starbucks coffee available in the lobby 24/7, nice long hot tub the full width of the pool (adjacent to the shallow end—nice design for families), lots of lobby and outdoor seating, friendly staff who shared recommendations for local activities, perfect location (super easy walk to Thai Bella, food truck park, and Moab Made among many other downtown shops and restaurants). Would definitely stay again, and will recommend!

River Canyon Lodge was a well-kept and comfortable stay. Bonus points for complimentary coffee machine which even offered espresso. Perfectly located within walking distance to restaurants, and 15 minutes from Arches NP and 45 to Canyonlands.

Tremendous location. Vehicle entrance from 3 streets. Next door to food trucks, laundry, Thai & BBQ joints. 1 block to Main st with shops and restaurants. Loved the Pool, Hot Tub & Outdoor furniture. Comfortable bedding. Stayed a week, would have liked a change of sheets but not available. Recommend!
