I bought this house over 20 years ago it was originally a worn out home, that's since been restored for the walkers, theatre crews and guests looking for the small town experience and base for travelling beyond.

It’s was built to last, starting early last century through to today, it’s hosted or rented to hundreds of people over the last 20 years and has been refurbished and updated at various intervals, so provided you don’t expect high chrome and glass when you visit, you shouldn’t be disappointed.

Instead you’ll find a functional detached house, that should provide everything you need as your base for travelling and discovering the area or just getting away from the noise and stress of everyday living with a peaceful short break.

If you love watching Tv, going to the local theatre, shopping at markets, pubs, restaurants or grills Mold has the lot to offer, a little further afield it’s an easy drive to Chester, Flint or further into Wales.

The rear garden is fully enclosed for bringing a pet and you can park for free at the side of the house or in a shared residential parking space near the rear of the building.

All the floors are laminated to cater for the heavy use we expect from pets, families and contractors and it’s much easier to clean should you have to.

The living room has a large LCD smart Tv with streaming services available via Netflix, Amazon etc.

If you sit in the dining room you can avoid the Tv altogether and read or eat outside through into the rear back garden.

When you need anything from the shops, you can nowadays arrange delivery to the house or simply walk or drive a short distance into Mold town centre and gain access to the normal big names such as B&M, Tesco, Lidl, Aldi, McDonald’s, Boots or nice surprises can be found in the small independent retailers in and around the high street.

Mold usually holds a traditional open market each week on a Saturday and also on a Wednesday in the high street, when traffic is blocked to allow people to take their time to trade with market stall owners, offering soaps, food, ceramics and even vacuum cleaners.

Refuelling your car is covered by Tesco, Costcutter and Shell all close by..

Unpleasant stay
The accommodation was very poor standard. The small bedroom had no electricity except for overhead light. Situation of bed meant no access to bedside table in that room. Really unfit for purpose The place felt grubby. Not enough crockery. No basics left eg milk bread washing up liquid. The upstairs toilet blocked on first day and left a voicemail msge to Gary but no reply. Bathroom needs immediate refurbishment. As does kitchen and downstairs loo there was no toilet brush or roll holder All in all an unpleasant experience Would certainly not recommend

The property was dirty and grubby. The electrics did not look safe (diy sockets and extension cables everywhere. We actually cut our holiday short because we couldn't face staying another night (this is the first time we have ever experienced this)
