Lovely pub in lovely village. Sadly has become a bit run down - the rooms are very basic, soft mattresses, threadbare carpets in hall, nowhere to hang anything up or put away. The bathroom was freezing, towel rail completely inadequate. However, was as clean as could be made, sheets and towels pristine. Saving grace is the service, which is excellent and very friendly, can't do enough for you, and an amazing breakfast - the food is very good.
