The property is ok. I have never experienced, where a room choice is not a guarantee. I am traveling with children and requested a double bed room, and a king room. I was given 2 king rooms, I was not advised of this until after I paid for my rooms. Then was told, it would be a cancellation fee, of 1 night, if I cancelled, which is $600. The next day, I was told I would be moved to a double for the next 4 days I had booked. This time I was literally lied to, by the front desk clerk. I advised the clerk, that I would move to a nearby resort if I was still unable to get a double room. I was assured that I would be as soon as I paid for the other 4 night. I was told a bellman, would be coming up to move , he never showed. I went back to the front desk, and was told there was never any double rooms available at any time during the day. I spoke to Amy and everyone available to no avail. My daughter was forced to sleep, basically on the floor, because there is also no double sofa bed, it is a single chair, and the cushions flip over to give it more length. Who wouldn’t be upset about paying $200 a night for a child, and then she has to sleep on a cushion, on the floor. Mind you, this resort is not fully booked, but, it seems the diamond club members, and the Marriott convoy customers are the ones they cater to. I would advise everyone to book somewhere else, where simple king or double room, is not a special request, and a double sofa bed, is a loveseat.

The rooms were nice but maintenance is lacking when an issue arises. Our AC stopped working so we got a new room, that AC worked but was leaking. The safes stopped working our last couple days there and could not be repaired. The pool and outdoor bar staff are great and do their best with what they have to work with but they are constantly understaffed and run out of staple drinks items - seems more like a management issue. The lobby bar has some of the lovliest people working there who go above and beyond to make your stay great! The vibe team are a blast and bring the energy everywhere they go, including the kids club; the kids had a good time there (shout out to Moriah!). The dining options were fine, there was always something good to eat. But compared to other resorts we have been to in Jamaica, the options were fairly limited and the food was average. The dining areas were always understaffed and ran out of basic drink options regularly. There was more than one meal we were not asked for our drink order or received our drink order so we left to go to the lobby or cafe after pur meal. The cafe was excellent with top notch coffe drinks available all day. The pastries and sandwiches were yummy too. The pool and outdoor amenities were good, especially if you have kids. We could always get chairs and fresh towels at both the pool and beach areas. We will come back to Jamaica, but not this resort.

Everything was very nice, room was beautiful we got the swim up suite. And the grounds were also very nice. The only thing I’d say wasn’t too good was the food, the buffet was great but the dining restaurants were mid. The drinks also could have been better/had better liquors to choose from considering we had the diamond package. Other than that everything was great and we enjoyed our stay

The property purports to be 5 star but it was in Reality a 3. Likes- swim up rooms with modern decor, modern lobby, large well maintained beach and water front. Lots of shaded seating. Dislikes- super slow staff, minimal staff for simple things like baggage check, maintenance, bar , housekeeping. Roaches in my room, clogged shower that we waited over and he to be fixed making us late for dinner. Lack of Jamaican food. Too much American food- and even with the American food( ie tex mex and steak restaurant) the execution was subpar, tasteless , over cooked or raw. Kids club only open till 5. No possibility for adults to have an evening out. Property itself was awesome, well maintained, water park was awesome ..my 12 yo rates it a 4. Again the only saving grace for me was the cleanliness and modern decor and well maintained property. Everything else needs some serious work. A suggestion to the hotel mgr.. if it’s off season and you can’t have your A-team staff to represent- close half the hotel and consolidate the staff for better service and coverage.

Our suite was big and beautiful. The two butlers that came with our suite were amazing. Very friendly and thoughtful. We didn't want or need for anything. All of our needs were already anticipated by the butler. She knew it was my birthday so while we were out on an excursion she came in and decorated the room. It was beautiful. She even made all of our dinner reservations and arranged transportation when we wanted to go sight seeing. The food options were really good. Plenty of entertainment. Professional staff.

Worst resort I’ve ever been to. I am in the bathroom as I type this. First of all beautiful resort however, I would not recommend. Upon arrival and checking in our room had no Air conditioning and had a bad odor. We went to check out the resort and had dinner. The steak we had was over cooked and cold, the food overall was disappointing. After reporting the air conditioning and odor a technician was sent to our room, after 30-45 mins we were told we could get a room change. After getting our bracelet key, Went to the room was not able to get in, went back to get the keys, still was not able to get in, went back to the front desk. And was accompanied to the room then we got in. Around 7:50 that evening I. Woke up from a nap. There was no light in the room, only the shower light that was blinking constantly. At this point I was disgruntled and completely over it.

The staff here were very friendly and definitely made my family stay! The restaurants could do a better job with the menu and I wish that the buffet had more traditional Jamaican cuisine ex: ackee and salt fish is the national dish yet it was RARELY put out for breakfast, I enjoyed the aqua aerobics with KHADIJAH and server MARCUS at the main pool was awesome and server RIKA for short at the main pool and lazy river as well, employees like them make the stay Mr Haypee in the diamond shop deserves a raise too !! My room was beautiful minus the fact I had a crack in my tub and the knob for my rain shower activation was missing The immediate area surrounding the hotel is not somewhere I’d travel so for the travelers looking for walkable area THIS IS NOT IT I would stay here again but could use a little touching up on the exterior and interior spaces

I love the staff but the restaurant on the property needs some attention…it’s a tropical island and it crazy that they’re lacking fans inside and outside of some of there restaurants building..your dining and have to be fanning, you can’t enjoy your food like that..it cost too much money for the property owners to guest to suffer like that..

I was having issues with the aafe in my my room. Orlando Clarke was able to fix the issue and gave me some background about Jamaica. Housekeeping was very accommodating as well. It was my first time in Kamaica and this haa veen a very memorable stay.
