The Royal Cocoa Palace, built in 1895, is located in the historical city centre of Montemor-o-Novo, a town immersed in tradition where the glamour, infused with the divine fragrance of chocolate, can be sensed in the gardens and halls of this illustrious palace. You will taste the premium pralines and visit the Royal Cocoa Co., the first chocolate factory worldwide that operates inside a palace.

Montemor-o-Novo is a very quiet and peaceful location, allowing you to fully relax, take a walk in the city centre, ride a horse in the castle or enjoy the 12km ecotrail that begins 100m from the Palace.
