It was more or less what I needed, which was a centrally located place in Bacalar. Very close to the lagoon, restaurants, and bars which was nice. Don’t expect good/working WiFi, and the bed to me wasn’t the most comfortable, but was able to sleep ok. Ultimately it was good enough

El hotel es amplio, muy cómodo y el personal es amigable y servicial. Mi habitación estaba muy amplia, las almohadas y los colchones súper cómodos. Tuvimos un inconveniente en el baño a las dos am que llegamos de un concierto y a esa hora lo arreglaron! El desayuno buffet está delicioso.

Bus boy great counter associates also great got there had trouble every day with the key to my room since first day could not open it boss Boy cannot open it. Neither they put me in another room that room same thing had trouble with the card.

When arriving at the property we were informed that our while groups reservations (all seperate reservations) were cancelled by expedia. After calling and investigating we discovered that it was the property that had infact cancelled all of the expedia reservations and resold our rooms at a higher rate. They lied fo us continuously about the reason for cancelling- non payment (we choose pay at property), card through expedia was no good (my card was not expired and just fine), called and no one answered (i had no missed calls from the hotel). They basically told us that we were screwed cause they were all out of rooms but that we could stay at their sister hotel for a higher rate. When we refused and demanded they match the rate and refused to leave until they made this right (2 hours later) all of a sudden 3 rooms be ame available at that property for our original rate. We never received an appology, comps, nothing!!! So be careful staying here!

I had stayed in that hotel in the past and they had excellent customer service. This time I was really disappointed. The room had no towels and no soap. I called them twice and they only took a towel. I told the reception I needed two because we were two persons. Then when I took a bath the tub was clogged and the water was spilling out.

The view of central Monterrey was great mountains in the background and you could see the top of the safi in San Pedro

I have been to this place several times before the quality has certainly diminished. I will not be staying there again. I would not recommend it to anyone guest services are garbage undertrained staff, i had coffee missing, and shampoo. plus the top fo the mirror had dust.
