Book Monticello hotels

This hotel is an older hotel, which means the rooms are larger. You can actually walk around the room without bumping into furniture! It was quiet when I was there, which was on a Thursday; I don't know how quiet it is on the weekend. I plan on going back when I'm in the area again.

The room we had was huge and new and very clean. There were 2 TVs, a fridge and microwave. It was convenient to Houlton without being near the busy interstate area.

I have stayed here many time over the years it keeps getting better and better.

Clean, well appointed, gorgeous setting. We loved the view, the coziness and the privacy. The starlings, corn and wind all made it perfectly atmospheric. It was the perfect backdrop for a writing retreat!

Was stationed at the air force base 40 years ago. Never knew Echo Lake existed. Finding this cabin, on a lake, across from Aroostook State Park was amazing. Even the neighbor was so friendly. It was just the two of us this time. Would love to bring family back to this property as it could house all of us. Fall colors were just kicking in. No eagle sighting in the nest, maybe next time. Special place to stay and location was perfect to return to at the end of each days activities.

Property very well maintained and quite beautiful, I was a little confused on what i had booked, so if you book a room your room is located above a garage and event center, they are very well maintained they have a mini fridge and coffee maker, with queen size bunk beds , a couch ,tv and small table, Also if you do book a room there is a flight of stairs you will have to climb not a problem for me , but little difficult for my wife ... anyone with a handicap with walking i would not recommend . I would like to say thank you to the host for helping us one night as i had left the key to room at a nearby store and she came out and let us in.
