We booked a family trip to Montreal and decided to stay at AC Marriott due to its location and proximity to all things Montreal. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to Old Montreal, under 5 minutes and you are at the heart of st. Catherine street. Lots of great dining options available around as well. The pool is on the 12 floor with stunning views of the city. That was the kids favourite part. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff was great as well. Underground parking with in/out privileges is also convenient but with a price. Overall highly recommend this property. Definitely staying again here.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel AC Montreal Downtown! Great service, great amenities, great location. The hotel is beautiful and modern, with a tasteful colour palette. Staff surprised our youngest son with a handwritten note for his birthday, along with a Kinder Surprise. They also put us in a corner room, which provided exceptional views, and the gym and pool located on the 12th floor equally provide incredible views. Water and coffee are complimentary in the rooms, and I'm always pleased to enjoy plush robes. Sainte-Catherine O. is one block north and puts you in the heart of festivals: we were able to catch the Just for Laughs outdoor activities. Old Montreal is also a decent 10- to 15-minute walk away. The hotel also provides small sachets in the lobby for guests to fill with fresh lavender, a lovely touch for those who enjoy dozing off to lovely scents. There's parking on site and even if check out is at noon, guests can stay parked in the underground parking until 5:00 p.m.! It was an amazing stay and we hope to return next year.

A good option for a weekend getaway to Montreal

The location is excellent—right in the heart of Montreal and close to everything you'd want to explore. The room was stylish and the bed very comfortable, with a distinctly European layout: separate corridors for the toilet and shower, and a central sink area. A few small drawbacks: there was no full-length mirror, which I think every hotel room should have. We were only given one robe, and despite requesting a second, it was never delivered—rooms with two guests should automatically come with two. The shower leaked onto the floor, so we had to lay down a towel to soak it up. Our Nespresso machine didn’t work either, so no in-room coffee. One major plus was the underground parking garage. Finding a hotel in Montreal with enough available parking is tough, so this was a big win—even though it does come at an additional cost. That said, the hotel itself is lovely and smells amazing. The sauna and pool were a highlight—we really enjoyed using them in the morning. Overall, a great stay with a few things that could be improved.

Great location and great rooms

Great hotel and a great location. The mattress and pillows were incredible! The staff was very friendly and were super helpful in changing our room when the first one had an odd smell. They were prompt and changed the room for us immediately. The parking garage is nice and clean but the price is a bit steep. For 4 stars it would also be nice if they included 2 robes but not a huge deal.
