This is an old building, but we found it was very well maintained. It's not new. Floors are crooked. But everything is clean and quite charming. It's genuine. If you like old world charm, that's it (if you want new that looks old go to Disney). Room was quite cold when we got in. Fortunately we had a small electric fireplace in the room and that got everything comfy for us. Breakfast is European-style and provides decent choices : toasts, real tasty small fresh croissants, fake bagels (not Montreal bagels), slices of real cheddar, slices of real ham, hard boiled eggs, plain yogurt, fruit salad, miscellaneous cold cereals (granola, bran, fruit loops...), milk, plant-based milk, cream, cream cheese, jams... and coffee/tea. No hot items (other than coffee/tea!), but I'll take quality items over hot carbs (ex. waffles, pancakes) anytime! We were pleasantly surprised; will go back!
