Great Hotel but Weird TV Controls on Dual TVs

Had a weird issue with my TV and the tech was working on it. But over an hour later, I had to call the front desk to check the status. Finally was told that they would move me to another room. Wish they had been proactive and call me vs me having to call them. I had to pack and unpack my stuff.

The location was perfect. We also enjoyed the ability to park for the 2 days as well as store our luggage. Loved the pool and pool area! The rooms were fine and clean. Staff were all awesome, friendly and accomodating.

The service was disappointing. I had booked two nights in a king bed room for a family trip. On the first night, we needed a room with two beds. The front desk initially said one was available but required manager approval. Unfortunately, the manager denied the request. After we had settled into the room, the manager called to say we could switch to a double-bed room, but only if we paid extra—and even though we needed it for just one night, we were told we had to pay for both nights. This policy felt both unreasonable and inflexible.

My friend and I absolutely loved Hyatt Centric Montréal! We stayed for a fun mini vacation and absolutely loved every detail of the hotel, from the rooftop to the cleanliness, service and architecture. We can’t see ourselves staying at any other hotel in Montréal after this experience!

Overall excellent stay. Rooms appear clean and staff were excellent. Very good breakfast buffet. One weird thing is that the ceilings of the rooms are unfinished concrete, but otherwise nice looking rooms.

The bar on the ground floor serves as the breakfast room in the morning, but it does a complete transformation at night and turns into a cozy bar. Service was excellent at all levels, from the front desk to room cleaning. But I did not like the "modern industrial" look, including the unfinished cement ceiling in our room. Looks aside, though, a good hotel.

The address was confusing because it took me to the garage level when reception was on an elevated street level. I kept getting confused because the reception level was actually on the third floor. I was frustrated that the happy hour hours weren’t accurate. I was compensated by the staff for confusing directions about the happy hours and the location between the restaurant and rooftop bar. The location was a quick walk to the old section and had a view of the waterfront.
