Clean, Quiet and Friendly Stay

We were within walking distance from the Tourist Information Centre and the trolley tours. It's a 5 to 7 minute drive to downtown Moose Jaw and the famed MJ Tunnels. Location is ideal. Service was friendly. As a Wyndham timeshare owner there was no availability for an upgrade unfortunately. At most hotels they will at least offer some snacks or drinks with the room upgrade. Not here apparently. Breakfast was hot and tasty. However, I shouldn't be knocking on a door for the attendant to advise when there is no bacon, coffee etc. Yes, the lady was kind and offered an apology. When three people are booked for a room there should be three sets of towels but nada. I requested and yes they were delivered when we were back in the room later that night. The bed was comfortable, clean and the room quiet. We at stayed in Room 309. I would stay here again upon my return. One in the party used the hot tub which they enjoyed.

There is no pool but there is a huge hot tub and sauna. Dining area is small but the food never runs out. I went to a different hotel before with huge dining but servers are so swamped we have to wait for food for 15 minutes to be replenished. Hotel is dated but the service compensates for it.

The hotel is relatively new but it seems very well used. It's in a cluster of 2-3 hotels that are stuck out in the outskirts of Moose Jaw, which makes it feel a little isolating -- rubble in fields all around, maybe something new will be built there one day, maybe not, although we got to watch several dozen gophers from our window. Breakfast was quite good for these types of 'free breakfast but no restaurant' hotels. The parking lot can be a bit of a challenge if you're not driving a big truck -- watch for concrete bulkheads to mark the driveway, etc.

Rooms not soundproof. We were on second floor, guests above made alot of noise from 5:30am on. Two calls to front desk -- helped for 5-10 min, then the jumping on the floor (our ceiling) began again). I requested a discount from front desk. they said not possible because I booked through Expedia. I won't be back.
