Highly recommended
So lovely and quiet, very easy check-in, didn’t feel like we were on someone’s property at all, so private and the best secure yard for pets that we’ve ever experienced. The cottage was set up in such a homely, cozy way and had enough breakfast supplies for hubby and I for our entire stay (not just the first morning). And the fresh bread still baking on our arrival was amazing!! Not to mention everything else that was also available to ensure a comfortable stay, whether relaxing inside or out - it was very refreshing to not have to go buy basics such as water, tissues, bug repellent etc. Very thoughtfully appointed. Bed linen and bath towels were fresh and lovely and soft as well. Location was great - very central to all the places we wanted to explore and close enough to main towns when needed. Will definitely be recommending to others traveling with dogs.

Country Bliss
Lovely few days in the country. Yurt was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The freshly baked bread, breakfast supplies and chocolates were a bonus! We had several sightings of echidnas which was extra special. Loved the poddy lambs, miniature cows, alpacas and doggos. The hosts were very helpful and we were taken on a drive along the fire trail at the back of the property which was very exhilarating! Would definitely stay again.

Long weekend escape
We had a lovely relaxing stay with our two dogs where we could take them for walks and a swim in the river. At night we had the wonderful log fire which kept the cottage warm and cosy. The smell of freshly baked bread was a lovely welcome! Would definitely stay here again!

Great getaway
A secluded, well-presented yurt full of character and amenities. You can hear the Bemboka River crashing over rocks as you stroll along the access road. Short drives to local towns and beaches. Well worth the stay.

Relaxing, quiet location
Loved our stay at morans crossing in the Yurt cottage! The cottage and yard are great for the whole family and had everything we needed - including fresh bread in the bread maker on arrival! The huge yard is beautifully maintains and was perfect for our Pomeranians ollie and Marlie. Karyn and Jeff went above and beyond when we realised one of the dogs was tiny enough to fit through the gate, and immediately doggy proofed this for us! Location is set about 20-25 minutes out of town, but we loved the drive. We also loved going down to the creek for a swim in the afternoons.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Yurt. Karen and Jeff (and their dogs🐾🐾) were very welcoming. The place was clean and tidy and the homemade bread and breakfast supplies were a nice added touch. Our 4 legged children enjoyed their stay too! Highly recommend a stay at Bemboka River Cottages.

Perfect getaway with glorious scenery
If you are looking for peace and quiet and getting in touch with nature and serenity then this is the place for you. The scenery out your back door is breath taking to say the least. On arrival awaiting us was a freshly baked loaf of bread by the owners which was a lovely touch. The cottage was clean and very comfy and could not have asked for anything more (except for wifi). We will be recommending The Kurt to our family and friends and will be visiting again but this time for a longer stay!

Great family holiday
The yurt was very clean and comfortable. A perfect size for a family of four. Our kids and dog loved the huge enclosed backyard to run around and play in. We enjoyed walking to the Bemboka river and exploring the rocks. The DVDs and games kept us entertained. Overall a nice short relaxing family getaway, which is what we needed.
