I have a serious concern about mold growing in the roof structure. It rained hard & water poured thru both of our room's light fixtures at 3:30 am, Thurs Oct. 31, 2024. The roof tiles and flashing had been completely removed to the bare plywood roof. Why didn't they use tarps when they knew rain was coming & their roof was totally exposed? It may look nice now, but the entire hotel was soaked. Definite water damage. No refund, no apology for that experience. Instead, they canceled our second nite when we asked them not to. Had to wrestle a refund for that nite from Expedia. Abysmal customer service aside, really, the place likely has mold growing above the ceiling. Find another place to stay. Looks aren't everything!

The only thing that was a negative was that an air conditioner from above our floor dripped onto ours and the walls were so thin I could hear the drip drip drip in the middle of the night. That being said, it was a comfortable room, very close to some good breakfast places and weekday rates are quite reasonable
