Short sightseeing break

Very helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast, nice clean room and great to have a bed each for the child rather than having to share a small sofa bed like at other hotels that claim to accommodate families. Easy access via foot and tram to the old town and other key attractions. Maps provided by the hotel were also helpful.

The property was clean, tidy, and simple. Everyone we dealt with was kind and patient. Breakfast was good. We had a room suited for 6 and it was plenty of space for us, our luggage, and our clothes. We would definitely stay here again.

Affordable decent stay in Munich

The young lady at the front desk was so wonderful and helpful. We did not do any research so wasn’t aware there was no air-conditioning in Munich city center unless you did a really really expensive hotel but they provided four fans which helped a lot and made it comfortable being from the states and the south we are used to the air. Other than that, the place was safe comfortable had a decent breakfast and great coffee. It is in an area that has some people standing out smoking and little convenient stores, but that was no bother and it’s right off the beaten path so it wasn’t loud but so close to everything to walk

Great for a short stay, but wouldn’t recommend for a longer trip. The room was spacious and clean, but was stifling without air conditioning. They provided fans, but the window faced a courtyard so there was not much of a breeze at night. Parking was offsite and they gave us a voucher to cover about half of the cost. Neighborhood was very walkable and just to the left of the hotel is an amazing place for breakfast called Cafe and Backerie Maurer. The food was delicious (pancakes, eggs, bagels etc.) and more economical than breakfast at the hotel. Staff was friendly.

I would pass on this one

Very basic accommodation. It was clean but there was a strong smell of smoke in the hallway outside our non smoking room and the bathroom smelled like sewer. There was no AC which I didn’t notice when I booked and probably would have been fine if there hadn’t been a heatwave. There was a fan in the room and we opened the windows but it was pretty hot and miserable. The street is a little sketchy with lots of hookah lounges. The front desk staff was friendly.

Staff here was very friendly. They had a good breakfast in the morning. The room was adequate but a little hot with lack of air conditioning. The block the hotel is on is ok, but don’t stray in the wrong direction with the family. There are multiple strip clubs on one block and saw a drug deal going on.

We had a family room- there were 4 of us and we were very comfortable. Easy walk from the train station. Quiet and clean with a lovely staff and excellent shower! Only negative about the neighborhood is that here are many hooka bars, so walking around the hotel can get v a bit Smokey- but not too bad. Would definitely recommend.

This was a really nice property to stay in! The weather was cool, so the lack of AC didn't really affect us, but the fact that they provided a fan was really nice. The only complaints we have were that 1) the shower seemed to leak (this was not a big deal though), and 2) it is a 20-minute walk from the Marienplatz, and the area it is in feels a little rough to be walking through a lot. So we took a lot of ubers and taxis. But it is very close to the train station, and the stay itself was lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Munich hotel

This is a lovely hotel and quite walkable to the main train station, where you can catch trains, buses, and trams to get anywhere in the city or to/from the airport. There are plenty of places to eat very nearby as well. Felt very safe, very clean, and a nice family place to stay while in Munich.
