he hotel is in a great location, with beautiful rooms and convenient street parking. However, there are significant accessibility issues that need to be addressed. To access the elevator, guests must use stairs, which was shocking and inconvenient for us. My wife had recently undergone surgery, and despite the front desk staff seeing her condition, they did not inform us about this obstacle. We only discovered it upon approaching the elevator. The explanation given—that it’s an old hotel—is not an acceptable excuse.
Additionally, we stayed in the nicest and largest room, but the shower drainage was faulty. After a short shower, the entire room flooded. I had to spend two hours draining the water with towels because no hotel staff was available to assist or fix the issue.
That said, we did enjoy the Christmas market and appreciated the hotel’s proximity to lovely cafés and excellent shopping spots.
