Staff was very helpful and attentive. Parking was super easy. Property was well located and clean with a good breakfast buffet. Well stocked room and bath. Noise from the side street was a bit loud at times during the early morning hours.

Fantastic 500 year old hotel right in old city. Everything is incredibly accessible by walking. Great food, museums, sights and shopping right out the front door. Breakfast was phenomenal and included with our suite. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering visiting Munich. Our best hotel stay in Europe so far

GREAT STAFF at breakfast and front desk. They learnt what we regularly ordered and would bring over unprompted. Very thoughtful. Room was wonderful, bed super comfortable, just right with many shelves drawers and hanging space, great for our 5 night stay. Highly recommend!

Hotel Torbrau is a friendly well run hotel with a great location. It’s about a five minute walk to Marienplatz, and the S-Bahn with direct links to the airport and main train station is a block away. My single room was compact, but clean and quiet. I especially appreciated the staff at the excellent breakfast who went out of their way to make their guests feel welcome in a room with a view of the Isartor.

This hotel was truly wonderful. Its location is perfect for walking to cafes, bakeries, shops, restaurants, and sights. Our hotel room was lovely / clean, great air conditioning, super comfortable bed and bedding, comfortable seating area with couch and chairs, mini fridge and desk. Breakfasts were so delicious with a great selection of hot and cold goodies. The staff were all awesome, including front desk, restaurant and housekeeping. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone planning a visit to Munich.

The Torbraeu is a traditional family-operated hotel that makes you feel like you are really in Munich. I enjoyed breakfast on the terrace and walking everywhere I wanted to go.

The hotel had character. It was gentile and had excellent and friendly staff from reception to the dining room. The only negative (which did not impact us) was the elevator not coming to the ground floor. This would be very difficult for a wheelchair person.
