It is a bit unfair to label all of the staff as poor. The front desk staff was excellent in every aspect. It was the incredibly poor service in the restaurant that earned the poor rating. Rarely have I ever seen a server act so terribly. The waitress was slow in taking the order, brought out food only after being asked, then didn’t bring all of it. Once we caught her attention, she said she would bring out the remaining food, but it still took her over 20 minutes to do it. She was rude the entire time and never offered an apology for anything. We will stay there again, but the restaurant has lost our business forever.

It was fine, staff was a bit stand offish and not terribly helpful or interested in being asked any questions. Had a parking gate but apparently you are supposed to drive around it and ignore the ticket system according to front desk staff. For a hotel near the airport it is... fine.

I recently stayed at this hotel for one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The reception staff were exceptionally welcoming, making check-in smooth and pleasant. They went out of their way to ensure we felt comfortable and answered all our questions with a smile. The room was clean, cozy, and perfect for a short stay. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Though it was just one night, we truly appreciated the peaceful ambiance and attentive service. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm, hassle-free experience.

The hotel is fine and the restaurant and service desk were quite helpful. But my issue was mainly with the location as going back and forth to the airport is quite costly and I was better off to book a hotel in the airport. Also the shower was not staying steady which was quite unpleasant.

Nice, Authentic German Hotel
I wanted to stay in a German hotel, so I chose Mövenpick Hotel München Airport in Hallbergmoos. It was rated a Four Stars hotel, but was actually Three Stars. It lacked the high end feel and amenities usually part of a Four Star stay. The Star rating is different than a Four Star Review. The front office staff was very helpful, spoke English and very accommodating. They provided an adapter since I'd forgotten mine. I had premier room, so it was spacious. I couldn't get the room comfortably cool, however. It did have a balcony, thank goodness, so I opened the windows (mid-November) to cool the room down. There is a restaurant in the hotel serving good food, including authentic German food. I enjoyed the wienerschnizel and cranberries for dinner but didn't care for the Caesar Salad. Had a delicious lunch (part of a meeting that was already underway) with roasted pork, green beans and German regional pasta.

Very nice hotel that had been updated. Room was very nice and comfortable. Front desk was very helpful and polite. Near the airport but when the windows were closed you couldn’t hear a sound.

Convenient location, 4-star hotel with restaurant with good food. The rooms look run down, and the service at the restaurant is extremely slow. The host's stand at the restaurant is serviced by the waiters, who are never there as they are serving the food and beverages at the restaurant.
