Disappointed in this trip

None of the carpets were vacuumed. The trash cans are the size of the ice buckets. You have to take your dirty towels to the front desk for clean ones. The hot tub was not working. It would have been nice if there was a sign at the front desk. The shower was horrible. If you turned it to hot, it was ice cold. The sink drained slowly. Motorcycles were parked in a 10 minute check in spot and were there for at least 10 hours. Then started up and were very loud at 6 am.

We came at 12:10. He said that we could check back at 2:30. I asked if we could wait at the pool. He refused. He said there’s a restaurant next door, I asked if he could call us if a room became available, he refused. Meanwhile housekeeping staff was on their phones and eating snow cones. All the rooms checked out by 11, I’m sure some much earlier. This is not hospitality, make an effort.

Just an old hotel that smells like musty cigarettes.. the linens were clean and the breakfast was good but had lingering smell of must. Decent for the price and a one night stay. Wouldn’t want to spend extended time here though.

Seen *much* better days

When we arrived our room smelled like weed, and there were noticeable white stains on the dark brown bed skirt. We notified staff immediately, and they came up to spray the room with a smoke remover. They also provided towels to cover the bed skirt, so that we wouldn’t come in contact with us and said they’d tell housekeeping to replace it in the morning. Upon returning to the hotel the next afternoon, we noticed that housekeeping had not come to our room at all - everything was how we’d left it that morning. The front desk was, again, unable to replace the bed skirt, so they offered to remove it and provide us with clean bedding, as we would need to move the mattress to the floor to make that happen. We decided to go this route and they removed/changed it immediately. Other than that, we did find a tiny bug on the shower curtain (couldn’t tell if it was a roach) and the pool was very cloudy. The hotel has definitely seen much better days and needs to be renovated - the toilet handle had to be held down to flush, and the hallway and stair carpets desperately need to be shampooed. Breakfast was good; most was prepackaged items, but the employee running it kept it stocked even up to its 9:30 closing time. The employees seemed to be very friendly and helpful, though I’m still not sure how housekeeping was not told to replace our bedskirt. All in all, it’s a crash pad; definitely nothing fancy. In general, I’d not recommend it.

Baymont Beware

Best part of the stay was a warm shower. The venue was very dated, rooms were very small and dirty. For the first two days the AC in the main lobby was out, so that was exhausting. While there was a cleaning service, they apparently do not work on Friday’s. The daily replacement of clean towels and garbage cleaning did not happen. If you wanted towels, you had to chase them for yourself. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience for the price $220 /night.

Cleanliness needs improvement, otherwise great!

Had a great stay overall! Breakfast was very good, better than I've had at other hotels for sure. Pool area was very clean and the pool was heated which is a big plus for my kids! The only thing I wasn't a fan of was room cleanliness. The bathroom floor was dirty with leftover wrappers/tp from previous guests and the fridge had items left in it. For the cost I feel the room could've been cleaner, I shouldn't have to clean the fridge out when I'm paying that much for a vacation. Then made me wonder what else wasnt cleaned and was skipped as well.
