I was terrified to stay at this property. The room was nasty. 2 huge cockroaches on my bed. Hair in sink and tub. Stained bed linen, smelled of cigarette smoke and hotel is filled with marijuana and mold smell. Overrun with homeless apparently living in the parking deck hooping and hollering obscenities to us. Awful!! I wanted my money back. Never ever stayed at a hotel like this.

Furst of all there were extra fees at checkin, that I wasn't aware of,second I ask for no stairs which we didnt get,third not enough pillows on beds& no shower curtain which the bought us one we had to put it up,lastly saw a roach, lot of homeless ppl around back&side of building

The view was great and for the most part it was clean and decent. Main issue is it took an hour to get checked in and once checked in our key did not work. When we went back to front desk, they accused us of putting our phone next to it to deactivate it. Which was not the case as the family after us had the same issue. Moisture was an issue but that was do to the ocean. I heads up would of been nice concerning the floor would be slick. Parking was the worse as the area to park was not very big and only one way in and out. You had to be careful not to scratch the side of your car or run into a car getting in or out, but for the most part it was a decent trip. Room was clean, including appliances, balcony was clean and had two rocking chairs, pool and hot tub were clean and quite enjoyable. A rocky start to begin with but ended nicely.

I booked this place for a last minute beach weekend. Based on the reviews I was expecting better. We got a good deal on the room because of Hurricane Debby. There is absolutely no way I would ever pay the going rate. Also the resort fee is a complete joke. This is no resort!! Just add the twelve dollars a day into the price and don’t try to call yourself a resort. Amenities include parking and a pool. The upper parking deck is roped off for some reason. Possibly condemned because it did seem to be crumbling. So SUV parking is across the street in a dark gravel lot behind a restaurant. The pros: pool with chairs, beach front, and hot water. The cons: We had a few issues with cleanliness. There was a partially eaten roll in the floor and soaked towels on the patio from the previous guests. Parking lot was dark. Beds were too firm. The lower level hallway was always wet which leads to concerns of mold. There were a lot of homeless people hanging around the motel and sleeping on the beach in front of the motel. Overall, this place is overpriced for the condition and quality.

Smelled of weed and urine and the room was super dirty. Roof was literally falling apart and all over the room floor. Staff was friendly and location was great at least but I guess you get what you pay for

This place is not suitable for habitation and is also unsanitary and hazardous. I will never make another reservation through Expedia. This establishment is a scam and does not deserve anyone's money or time. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

The staff at Gazebo Inn it's wonderful. Terrance in housekeeper and Betty at the front desk were very accommodating. My room was clean and had a beautiful view! The only issue is the vagrants/ drug users outside the hotel. If you have kids, it’s not something they should see. I had no kids so it was ok .

The ladies up front were awesome and the head of housekeeping deserves a huge shoutout.. thanks again we enjoyed our stay in myrtle beach when we finally got to the gazebo. After 3 other hotels and disappointments it was perfect
