- The top bunks are only suitable for children due to weight limitations
- This property runs on a septic system, thus it is critical no items (feminine products, floss, food, toys, etc) other than toilet paper be flushed down the toilet. Additionally, no food or oil should be put down the sink
- Your safety matters. This property features 2 exterior security cameras. Camera 1 is a Ring doorbell camera on the front porch facing the front exterior entry. Camera 2 is on the back of the home facing the deck/dock. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras record video and sound when motion is detected

Wonderful family vacation
Great house that was accommodating for our whole family. Loved being able to fish right off the deck in the back yard. Was pleasantly surprised by the amount of extras in the garage. Chairs and lounges were a nice surprise. Only notable concerns were a couple of the drawers in the kitchen needed fixed and the fishing deck could use a structural tune-up. Was a bit concerning with only 2 people on it. Other than that it was a great vacation rental!

Vacationers Beware...
Vacationers beware… Found out through the community that this property is currently on the market for sale and maybe that’s the reason why the property is poorly maintained. The pictures on the VRBO website are not an accurate depiction of the current state of the property. There are numerous safety concerns regarding the deck that surrounds the house. No handrails to go up and down the stairs along with dry rotted rope around the perimeter of the deck held together with duct tape which half the ropes were lying on the ground. This is a dire concern for children and senior safety. Because the grass had not been cut we could not thoroughly enjoy the fire pit and it was not pet friendly. The grill was absolutely filthy and unusable not to mention the used utensils that were left from the previous vacationers. Also, no outdoor dining seating. It was disappointing to not be able to utilize the outside to its full potential. The inside of the house overall was clean and tidy. The complimentary toiletries were appreciated. Our whole party was able to fit comfortably. There are a couple minor concerns that can easily be addressed. The remotes to the lights are broken and the blinds in the bathrooms were somewhat see through and had to drape a towel over the window for added privacy. Not to mention no blinds at all in the upstairs bedroom. This is not the first time I have used VRBO and have had great vacations up until this one.

Great weekend getaway
We had a blast going to this cottage waterfront for our combined Bachelor/Bachelorette party. The hosts were accommodating with limited toiletries and blow-up kayaks and paddle board for us to use on the water. We were close enough to the bay to enjoy the open water, and even ventured to Frankenmuth nearby. The amount of beds was very nice for our group as well.

We had a great time. The weather wasn't great. The house is beautiful. We loved being on the lake and my family had a great time. We will definitely will come back again we will do it when it is warmer out the next time. The owner texted me the day we got there to check in with us and to let us know if we needed anything to message him. Fortunately for us the only thing we needed was a power cord for the TV and he ordered one and had sent directly to the house. The house was everything it was advertised to be.

Awesome stay!
This little lake cottage was so welcoming! Brett was awesome and quick to respond to questions. House was equipped with everything we needed. Caught lots of fish off the dock! Close to both Saginaw city and Bay City. Beds were comfy as well!! Lots of rest and relaxation and sunsets were beautiful to watch every evening. Great Michigan vacation!!!

Sisters get away
Thoroughly enjoyed the house and the view for our yearly sisters get away. It totally fit our needs and wants. View and deck were fantastic!! My only criticism is that the kitchen floor was sticky. Not sure why. My suggestion would be an update on kitchen tools and dishes. We didn't do alot of cooking and used paper plate so what was there met our needs but had we wanted to cook up a storm what was there would not be adequate.

Great Lake getaway!
My wife, 9 month old and myself had a blast! Very quiet and peaceful. Close to Bay City but yet very secluded. Neighbors are super friendly, fruit trees galore and they let you help yourself to them. The main reason we booked was to get some fishing in at Saginaw bay and man it didn’t disappoint!! We caught perch, crappie, pike, bass, bluegill, catfish, you name it! Some biggins too! Views were amazing at sun set! We will for sure be back and I highly recommend this place to families or couples looking to getaway! The great fishing was just a plus!
