If you journey 180 kilometres of Na Thung, you'll find the significant city of Chiang Mai Province.

Sukhothai Historical Park, 35 kilometres away, is one of the best places to go if you want some fresh air and a relaxing afternoon. It's definitely worth the journey.

After some other nearby places? Sawankhalok is only 6 kilometres to the east, so hop in the car and start exploring! Alternatively, Si Samrong, 19 kilometres southwest of Na Thung, is also worth a day trip.

Phitsanulok, 75 kilometres to the southeast, is a great little excursion Use it as a base when stopping by Folklore Museum, the Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahatat Woramahawihan and the Wat Nang Phaya. If you need more convincing, other close by attractions include the Wat Ratburana and the Sgt. Maj. Thawee Folk Museum.
