It was beautiful but our flight left at 9pm the next day and we didn't get to the hotel until 7pm because of the long drive from Pac Harbour to Nadi. So we paid from 3pm-7pm without being there, but when I asked for a later check out so my 1 and 2 yr old could take naps without being stranded with no place to go they said it would be $189FJ. Nobody seemed to want to offer me money for arriving later then check in but the second we ask to stay late the costs go up. Insane and I wouldn't book again with the exorbant fees.

This little hotel has been one of my regular stops when I land in Fiji. Service is wonderful and staff goes out of their way to help you. They are currently doing renovations but it did not affect my stay. No noise filtered to the rooms. Excellent value!

Can’t beat the location for convenience to the airport. Despite that it is a quiet hotel. Ideal for a short stay. Large bedroom with seating area and outdoor space too.Restaurant, bar, 24 hr room service, 2 pools, transportation to and from the airport and a small shop for forgotten items. Some distance from the city centre, restaurants or entertainment.

The perfect segue into or out of Fiji
We find the Gateway as the perfect place to stay to coordinate or arrival or departure from Nadi with transfers out to or in from the islands. It has the simple friendly Fijian charm that immediately drops you into the low stress Fijian lifestyle on arrival or a place to collect and savour last memories on departure. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, the ambiance relaxed and the rooms clean and very comfortable.

We had a pool room downstairs. Perfect for us for our 4 night stay. The only problem I found was we have been coming to Fiji Gateway for quite a few years and in the last year the menu has not changed, there are no daily specials on a blackboard to add interest to the menu. The fish is only one type of fish it is the reef fish, very strong and a tough fish. There are so many other fish to add to the menu. Why not a different fish menu as a blackboard special. We will be back in early 2025 I hope to see some changes to the menu so we want to keep eating there. Also found $28 dollars a little pricey for just a continental breakfast, especially that other small resorts other a full breakfast included with your room.

I had a wonderful stay at the Fiji Gateway Hotel. Close to the airport. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Bula! Vinaka were words you felt sincerely. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Fiji.
