We got this hotel near airport (less than 10 min drive) because they offered shuttle service and had a nice pool. We needed a hotel between flights as we had a 12 hr layover. The hotel is very pretty with a beautiful pool and great service from the guy that works at the pool. The dinner buffet was excellent! Best buffet ever

I had a very disappointing experience at Argyle Grand Hotel Nairobi Airport. When I arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, I waited for over two hours for the hotel’s airport shuttle. During that time, I called and emailed the front desk multiple times, but no one responded or called back. Eventually, I had to take a taxi to the hotel at my own expense. When I arrived, my bank card failed to work on their payment machine during check-in. I offered to return to the airport to withdraw cash, but while waiting for the hotel’s free shuttle at around 2:00 a.m., I saw their driver taking another guest to the airport while I was left standing in the cold. I finally rebooked the same hotel online through Expedia, and the payment worked immediately. However, by the time I checked in, it was already close to morning — completely defeating the purpose of my stay, as I had booked the room to rest before my 6:00 a.m. connecting flight. Overall, the experience was frustrating, poorly managed, and unprofessional. I would strongly urge the hotel to improve its shuttle coordination and guest communication.

Stayed here one night, room was excellent, very large comfortable bed and very good facilities. Breakfast had loads of options and all was well presented, very fresh and high quality. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Shuttle bus is met outside arrivals, look for the hotel logo This will be our go to hotel in Nairobi from now on.

The hotel is beautiful. The pool is pristine and the morning buffet is amazing. Kente in the spa was a miracle worker. She restored me after 6 days bouncing around in a jeep on safari. Be sure to request a room with a pool view. Even though the construction next door is loud it is nothing compared to the nightclub on the front of the building which plays until 5 or 6 in the am

Amazing

Amazing stay. We just needed a few hours of rest as we transited through Kenya. We booked this because it was close to the airport. We were picked up by a shuttle bus at 1am and met by Steven who was very friendly. Check-in was fast. We were leaving before 6am and would miss breakfast but they even arranged a packed breakfast. The room was very nice. Clean, modern, TV. And the rest of the hotel looked amazing I wish we had more time to explore. If I ever need to come to Kenya I would definitely stay here again.
