The only small thing was that the pillows needed to be firmer. Even with two it was almost a flat sleep.

Check in was quick and easy. Room was large, lots of room for motorcycle gear. Bed was comfortable. Walls are a bit thin, but neighbours were pretty quiet.

Lady at check in was exceptional. The lock to our room was a challenge, hit and miss when trying to open. She provided a second set of keys and then came to the room to try as well. She had already sent a note to maintenance. She also noted that she would be at reception until midnight and would be available to open the door if we couldn't get it to open. Exceptional service.

Very well managed and renovated hotel, although the rooms are unavoidably dim and reminiscent of an old roadside motel. For the price I had hoped for a nicer room. However the bed was wonderful and we both slept fabulously so I guess that’s the most important thing!

Very friendly staff. Large, clean rooms. Nakusp is a beautiful small town with lots of flowers and a wonderful walking path along the lake.
