When we arrived, we were a little shocked with the look of the exterior of the building. It's a little rough looking with garbage and grafitti all around. The owner, Paula met us and showed us our room. That was the one and only time we had any contact with her or anyone else associated with the property.
The room was very basic but was very clean and had everything we needed. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but wasn't terrible either.
There are many restaurants and lots of small shops nearby. Come night time though, there's also groups of kids who hang about.
Naples as a whole, was a lot rougher than I'd imagined. Although it has it's charm, I've seen it now and have no desire to return. If a family member was planning an Italian holiday, I'd suggest steering clear.
