We have a queen bed room for two nights. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with full bathroom amenities and slippers provided, which is rare in hotels nowadays. They have a water filter for drinking water installed in the bathroom which was convenient and efficient. The daily breakfast buffet was Amazing, a spread of Japanese and Western food with high quality both days we were there. With the volume of customers going through the restaurant, the food at the buffet was always fresh, and they have staff patrol the buffet regularly to keep it replenished when needed. We had dinner and drinks at Sky Lounge the first night, dinner at the Sushi Restaurant the second night and drinks again at Sky Lounge. Sky lounge stands out because of the excellent service, from service staff to bar tender, the service was excellent both nights.
The only less experience we had was the sushi restaurant. The first night we were turned away by the server, saying the restaurant was full booked while we could see multiple tables available. The second night we went very early and first got told “there is only one chef tonight , it’s going to be very slow”. We told the server we don’t mind slow service and finally got seated and served. Both nights we have witnessed the servers trying to turn English speaking guests away while accommodating and accepting Japanese guests. Not sure if that is driven by company’s policy or staff preference. The food quality was good and came fast.
