Nice hotel, service needs to improve.
For the most part it was fine. The lobby is too crowded. It’s game day so some groups were watching the game at the lobby. The lady who checked us in was very nice. The lady who checked as out didn’t look happy to be there. Not a single smile or hi. I don’t even recall her saying a word to us. I didn’t get her name and I wish I did. She is short, with long black hair and Asian looking. After check out I realized immediately that I left my umbrella in the room so I went back to her and asked if I can get back in the room. Again, she said nothing. She started typing on the computer then grabbed a key and handed it to me, still no word. When I went back at the lobby to hand the key back to her, I said thank you. Once again, no word. She doesn’t seem to be happy being there nor interacting with anyone. Management should retrain her. Breakfast at the commodore was a buffet. For $16.95 per person, I didn’t see any difference between their food and the free breakfast that holiday inn express offer. Our server was nice. Food, Not so much. Go somewhere else for breakfast.

The staff are incredible. Shuttle service anywhere in the area with just a call. Front desk Cane was so nice. Shout out ro Richard ans Jim who drive the shuttle

We enjoyed our stay. There was a problem with the refrigerator not connected to the electrical outlet, after housekeeping connected the refrigerator it started to leak water and damaging the dresser. It appears that the refrigerator has been leaking for some time because the particle board panels were decaying. We stayed in room 1104.

Location is good. Shuttle to downtown is a benefit. Rooms were fine, disappointed with room for linens in washroom. Dirty towels and face cloths were removed but not replaced. Several days without during 6 day stay. Dining was great, as was the entertainment of artists in the evening.

The location was convenient and shuttle service was provided throughout the day to Downtown. The restaurant/bar had entertainment nightly of various singers/song writers. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!!
