'LEAVE AS FOUND OR BETTER'
THIS IS YOUR HOME AND OTHERS' IN THE MOUNTAINS.
WOOD BOX IS FULL AND READY FOR NEXT GUEST.

Make sure the wood is the type that is dry, and small to medium-sized so those who arrive next can easily start the fire.

THE DISHES ARE CLEAN AND PUT AWAY, AND THE COUNTERS LEFT CLEAN,
FLOORS ARE CLEAN AND ALL RUGS HAVE BEEN SHAKEN OUT AND PUT BACK AS FOUND.
If the floor is wood then sweep, there are brooms and dust pans for you to use. If the floor is carpet then use the vacuum.

ALL GARBAGE HAULED OFF, IF DUMPSTER AVAILABLE THEN PUT IN IT.
DO NOT LEAVE IN CABIN

From May to October there will be dumpster on the property.

OUTSIDE AREA CLEANED UP, THAT INCLUDES ANY BATHROOMS YOU MIGHT HAVE USED.
ANY ITEM NOT DONE WILL BE A $50.00 DEDUCTION FROM YOUR DEPOSIT
COMMENTS ARE APPRECIATED. I CANNOT CONTROL EVERYTHING, AS I LEAVE THAT UP TO EACH OF MY GUESTS

THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING! IT IS NICE TO SHARE MY PLACE WITH OTHERS.

I do have internet upon request, I want people to spend time together not by texting but by bonding as the old days. I will give you the password but I do not want down loading movies or streaming music, it will slow or shut down from overuse, business only.
"Do not give to children tell them to play games,puzzles,catch/kick ball, enjoy the out doors"

IT IS SUGGESTED YOU BRING THE FOLLOWING,
Remember, this is your cabin and others in the mountains "Cheers"
Linens or sleeping bags and pillow cases
Towels and dish cloths
Toilet paper and paper towels
Trash Bags
"Provided are pillows and blankets, not pillowcases"

All can be provided for a fee but advanced notice is a must, minimum cost is $25 per bed, includes bedding(top and bottom sheet), 2 pillow cases, 2 towels, 2 wash cloths.

"Fire wood is available for purchase on the property for outside fires"

Each cabin is fully furnished with refrigerator, microwave, popcorn popper, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, coffeepot, toaster, electric hot plates, electric skillets, crock pot, and other misc. kitchen equipment. NO Full Size Oven in this cabin, only cabin with oven is Wild Hare and the Little Dome.

Outside there is a gas grill and a fire pit.

THERE IS A CENTRAL BATHHOUSE AND An Outhouse located on the property that can be used by all guests in the Cottontail, Thumper and Rabbit Den, The Wild Hare has its own bathroom yet when the water is shut off in the winter months the guests can use the outhouse or bathhouse. The Bathhouse is attached at the end of the yellow timed cabin (Cottontail). It has one shower, one toilet and a sink. There is also an outhouse located at the opposite end of the property (see property layout) for those not wanting to wait for the toilet at the bathhouse.

PLEASE, be respectful of all guests and leave clean. Please remind children to do the same.

Cabin price based on 2 people all extra guests and pets are $10 more per night. Make sure you verify all before arrival. This is your home and others in the mountains, surprises are good but not the type that is to sneak one over on Jeff or the other guests on the property. Like you tell me one pet and got 5 , or one guest and I arrive to find a tent and a camper. Thank You,,All and Jeff

If you bring extra guests (people or pets) and did not include when booking it is best you inform Jeff immediately and /or use the drop box on the property located at Jeff's house. If you do not inform Jeff/use the drop box , you will be charged double when leave. This will come out of your damage deposit. That is $20 per night for each and not $10. HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY. (OR) you will lose your deposit. I am tired of people not the pets trying to get over on me and me letting it happen. It took two many years to fix these places up, never getting paid and now, I just wanted to be treated as I ask. Thank You Jeff and all honest guests!

In the off season (Approx. Nov 1. to Approx. May 1)the water is shut off to the Thumper , Rabbit Den and Wild Hare cabins. The water is kept on at the bathhouse and the Cottontail.
Verify that water is on or off as in the winter things can change, Welcome to the mountains.

Off-season 'Winter' is when water is shut off to the cabin
This is from Approx. May 1 to Approx. Oct. 15
If the water has been shut off to the cabin verify water is still on at the Bathhouse that is attached to the Cottontail.

You can still rent the cabins and go to Mt. Princeton Hot Springs only 5 minutes away (1.5 miles) down the valley for soaking and swimming.
There is an outhouse on the property ( see property layout on Bunnylane Cabins Web page)
For Water, there is a well on the property, but I suggest you bring a few gallons of drinking water, if you do not like well water. The well is shown on the property layout.

"WHEN DO YOU WANT TO RENT, SEE BELOW"

There is a 2-night minimum, but exceptions can be made if cabins are rented the nights before or after the night you want.
“Exceptions can be made”,,, as long as rentals tie into another, it is on weekdays or you are able to make an offer that that justifies the time to talk about it. Have a Great Day,, Thank You ,,Jeff

Quaint and quirky
At first we thought . Yikes! But after a couple hours of cleaning we really enjoyed Thumper and Bunny Lane. We're all seniors so the history was a selling point. My wife and her sister thought the cobwebs were something they tried to do their best to eliminate. There were a couple appliances that needed repairs or replacement. An interesting experience that we ended up enjoying

Cozy Cabin
We weren't sure at first, but after 24 hours we realized it was going to be a great week! It kept us warm, dry & helped us make some amazing memories! Quietly tucked away down a CR past the business & even had a fishing pond within walking distance. Saw lots of wildlife too. Would definitely rebook.

A serene getaway
We had a mother/ daughter weekend! My daughter flew in from Chicago. It was fabulous! No cell service, so I had her all to myself! I did share her with nature. We went on several hikes, visited St. Elmo, more hikes, went to the hot springs often, so relaxing! We loved the cabin and the surroundings! So peaceful! We both want to come back and bring our family and friends!

Everything clean and as advertised. Good location north of town for seeing all the sites. Big comfortable beds. Owners responsive. Home is on lot with other mobile units but we never saw anyone else on the property. Can hear passing trains at night but not loud

A Cozy Getaway
My wife and I and two friends used the Thumper cabin as our lodging for an elk hunt in the area. The check-in process was simple and we had no problem finding the cabin. The cabin worked well for us. The location was good. The area was very quiet and we kept warm with the space heaters provided and the wood burning stove in the main bedroom. The only problem was that, after we had checked in, I learned that the cabin did not have a restroom or shower facilities. After arriving, however, I found that those facilities were provided in another cabin close by. The facilities were nice and turned out to be a minor inconvenience. We enjoyed Thumper and the cozy solitude it provided. Yes, we would stay here again in the future.

My own fault- bad decision
I thought it would be a step up from camping. I didn’t stay because my partner refused and we ended up camping. The cabin had a creepy vibe - that and all the rules. No refund- didn’t bother asking.
