Unfortunately wifi was not working and when it did come back the Live TV feature would not work correctly. We stayed two nights and our room was not reset for the second day.
Very nice stay. Sort of a no frills experience though. The check in desk is down the road and all you might see at the hotel is the cleanup crew. You are right above the barbeque restaurant so you smell barbeque quite a bit.
We loved our large room and could live there for an extended stay. Nice stay.
Go to the buffet at the Nauvoo house down the street on weekends. Check for opening dates.
Our stay at the Nauvoo Temple House Hotel was exquisite! The rich history of the building and the charm of the room were both top notch and the customer service of the staff was just icing on a delicious cake. We loved our experience and would absolutely return again!
The historic building was well done and as up to date as possible. The 3 flights of steps were daunting to get up to our very comfortable king bed but the room was pretty and clean. Was very disappointed that no place in town had breakfast on a Friday morning. No coffee in the room available either.

Three levels of stairs made getting to our room difficult.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Nauvoo Temple House Hotel. We stayed in the building across from the Temple labeled Zions Mercantile. The room was nice for Nauvoo. Plenty of Space for a family of 6. A/C was working great, so the room was comfortable. Shower was the strongest shower I've ever experienced. Felt like the episode of Seinfeld with the black market shower heads, it was intense. Location was ideal, understanding that nowhere in Nauvoo is too inconvenient, but it's great to be right across from the Temple. Would definitely stay there again.
The only negative is all the stairs to climb with luggage. The rooms on the 3rd floor are better than the ones on the 2nd floor. No rooms on the 1st floor. We have stayed there 4 times now.
Building is historic and has historic uneven floors. Was very convenient for our purposes, decent bbq joint in part of the building. Room was spacious and clean, bathroom was small with only a small stand up shower. Was fine for the 2 of us, but might be hard to manage if your family of 7 filled the beds
Especially liked that we were right across the street from the temple. Beautiful. We were downtown so could walk to the restaurants, temple, etc.

I love that it is an old, historic hotel! It is very conveniently located. I enjoyed walking to nearby shopping, the family search center and temple. It is a 2-3 minute drive down to old, historic Nauvoo. The room was small but the bathroom was big. It has been updated but still has that original feel. The bed was wonderfully comfortable! It was queen size. The curtains close to darken the room. I appreciated the fan. It was a perfect get-away for me. It might be too tight of quarters for two people. There is only a fridge, no freezer. The microwave is shared in the hallway. There are almost no dining options in town so bring your own food. I will definitely stay again.
Great stay! Premium location just up the street from the Nauvoo Temple! Friendly staff. Loved the four room/three bed suite accommodating our whole party of 5 adults! Limited restaurant options later in the evening or for breakfast in the morning in small-town Nauvoo. Plan accordingly!
Because we booked our rooms late, we needed to change rooms for our second and third night. Management and the cleaning staff went out of their way to clean our room early so we could move rooms without packing everything to our car and back in again. The rooms were quaint and charming and very comfortable. We loved the location.
