Kick back and relax in this newly renovated guesthouse. Have the entire home to yourself complete with kitchen, full bath and living area. The kitchen includes an air fryer oven, induction stovetop, Keurig coffee maker and fridge. The bathroom features a brand new rock and tile rain shower.
Only a 5 min walk to 6 mile beach, 12 km to downtown Nelson, 33 km to Whitewater Ski Resort and 36 km to Ainsworth Hot Springs.

All we needed
A comfortable, cosy space. Has everything you need. Best for two people, as four would be cramped. A perfect place if all you need is a clean, comfortable spot at the end of a day of activities. Very short drive (about 10 minutes) to get to downtown Nelson. Have zero complaints.

Fantastic little suite!
The perfect little place to stay! The hosts offered everything you could need and it was such a cozy little suite. Separate from the main house, it had a nice deck that unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy much due to the rain but I would definitely stay here again!

Cozy suite with everything we needed. Simple, charming decor. Nice little patio. Took a nice walk down to the beach for a swim in Kootenay Lake. 10 min drive from town on the beautiful winding road of the north shore to get to the cabin just adds to the experience.

Great Small Space
I was thoroughly impressed with the room. It's detached and you have lots of privacy. Yes, you can hear the highway, but it's not loud enough to disturb your sleep. The owner thought of a lot of small things and I really appreciated the attention to detail. The electric fireplace and hot water on demand are great features. There was even a little lantern if you needed to navigate the property at night.

I stayed for a quiet weekend away. It is on the main road but didn't notice traffic. Easy walk to a lovely beach. Don't plan on cooking much as kitchen is very small, usable but just for simple meals. Bed was comfy. Enjoyed the electric fireplace.

CREATIVE AND UNIQUE
Overall, the experience was pleasant and met our needs. I found the location accessible and easy. The place was clean. The only criticism I have is that the mattress and futon were not very comfortable. We found them too hard and uncomfortable and actually caused some aches. The shower also overflowed onto the floor very easily. All in all, I was not disappointed. Thank you for the opportunity.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay here in mid July! The place was quite clean and well stocked, we had everything we needed. Only downside is that the photo of the outside of the greenhouse is a little deceiving. We thought behind the place was a green area, not a road. However, it made the commute to town and Kokanee Creek Provincial Park easy. We would recommend the place to anyone looking for an affordable place to stay near Nelson!

We enjoyed The Guesthouse on our little getaway to the Nelson area to experience the Hot Springs. The guesthouse is comfortable, clean and located in close proximity to all the activities we wanted to participate in.

Exactly as shown online. Prefect for our visit. Great to be able to cook our own meals, bed was super comfortable, bedding was awesome, shower was great. The only suggestion we have is to provide a garment rack to hang clothes and have a place for suitcase/bags. Much better than a hotel room.
