The rooms are very musty and smell horribly of mildew. There was visible mold on the walls. The front desk staff changed our room to three rooms down. It was slightly better but the mildew smell was almost unbearable. Would definitely not recommend.

The staff were wonderful. Our stay was great. We had a room with mold they moved us right away. The girls at the front desk were so nice and helpful the ladies who do breakfast were very nice and attentive. Only problem was the manager she was awful to the staff rude to them and walked around with a unfriendly face and attitude.

We really enjoyed our stay, room was clean and comfortable. Great courtyard and breakfast. Can walk throughout the French Quarter but far enough away for a quiet sleep. Also walked to the Superdome from here. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location to explore the French Quarter
Great location to explore the French quarter. It was within walking distance of everything, but far enough away that you didn't hear the noise. If you get a room on the odd numbered side facing the building next door, be aware that they roll the dumpsters out at about 3:00 a.m. and it sounds like a freight train

Very disappointed in the hotel. #1. Toilet did not refill after flushing. They came up 2 times and still didn't fix it or seem to understand what it was not doing. Had to shake the handle to get it to refill each time. #2, Freezing cold shower 2 of the 5 days. 1 luke warm and 2 actually hot. #3. The filthiest, most gross floor I have ever seen. I spilled some water and wiped it up with a white facecloth and it was as black as coal!! I tried other areas of the floor and it was the same, It was like a layers of coal dust had been sprinkled on the floor. I don't think they had washed it in months. Some positive things. Got clean towels every day and the bed was comfortable. I would never recommend this place in spite pf the friendly people who work there. Get some soap and water and wash that floor, fix the toilet and the hot water.

I thought the property was great, the breakfast is very good, large swimming pool, the French quarter unfortunately is getting rundown lot of homeless lot of shady people walking on the street
