This is not just a quaint little hotel, it’s a beautifully landscaped compound of numerous buildings with rooms, a pool, and a fountain. It’s very safe with wrought iron gates and a security guard on post. The staff were amazing, friendly, and efficient. I was pleasantly surprised by the entire property.

Unfortunately my stay at Maison St. Charles was not a pleasant one. I had to request for my room to be cleaned after two nights of being there and even after that the room was not thoroughly cleaned. There was a night that I came back to find the used towels that I put on the floor (as per the note that says to put used towels on the floor in order to obtain new ones) were still left on the floor. There are cats on the property and I have an allergy; I was not aware that this was a pet-friendly establishment. I was woken up to noise outside of my door every morning due to the next room being worked on/construction. There was a space between the door and the ground; therefore I found a spider in my room on the first night. When I reached to use a towel there was a spider on there as well. This was a very unpleasant uncomfortable experience and I will not recommend this location. We were not even asked about how our stay was at checkout. There is security on the property at night which was comforting, but the room I stayed in on the ground floor was not a room that should have been sold for hotel stay. The facilities were not up to par for a hotel and made the stay very unpleasant.

First time visit. Enjoyed the quiet. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very nice and respectful. Our only real issue was the TV. The volume on the remote would not go down and the volume was set too high. The staff changed remotes while we were gone but the replacement remote had the same problem. Aggravating. We would still consider staying at your hotel on our next visit.

They told us where the elevator was, but the elevator was not working. So we had to carry our suitcases up for flight of stairs, Call the man told him that they elevated. What's not working and they acted surprised like if they did not know what it was not working other guests told us it wasn't working all day. I had two 71 year old ladies with me and we had to carry our luggage up and down the stairs. I told them again in the morning and they acted like they did not know about it. Other than that it was a good place to spend the night.

This was a great place to stay during my time in New Orleans. It was central with a lot of food options and places to visit. It was walking distance to the Super Dome so it worked out perfect. Bayou classic and saints game was great with the help of this stay.
