How is this a 4 star hotel!?! The wallpaper was peeling, none of the plugs worked and there was mold growing on the ceiling. The bar and restaurant staff were rude and slow. Good location, but still a bit too close to Bourbon Street to sleep well in the evening.

If you're looking for a location in the heart of the French Quarter this might be the place for you. We moved after 2 nights of a 5 night stay to a hotel 10 minutes away and significantly less money. It was much nicer.

The New Orleans Omni was just close enough to Bourbon Street to not need an Uber, but far enough that we could sleep at night. The front office staff was very kind. The pool was popular, deep, and refreshing. Would have loved a hot tub and breakfast if those were available!

Decided on a weekend trip to New Orleans and once again chose the Omni Royal to stay. This hotel is top-notch. Close enough to everything in the French Quarter, but far enough away from the noise and obnoxiousness of Bourbon Street. The staff - from doorman to check in to housekeeping - are so wonderful, helpful, and friendly. Will be a repeat customer again in the future!
