It is at a bus stop in a little bit of a run down area, and the parking garage is detached and not owned by the hotel, but the only place to park. So the walk from the parking garage to hotel felt very sketchy. Inside was clean and orderly with kind desk attendants. It was nice to be able to walk to many locations from this spot.

NEVER AGAIN SORRY

First off, I would like to thank Miss Nicole for trying to assist me with all of the problems I had I was moved to three different rooms in a matter of a hour. Firstly, upon entering the condos, it has an awful smell that you cannot resist. My first room the shower was very dirty. They still had trash in the kitchen area and also throughout the bedrooms. The second room had stains sheets to where there was a square put around the mark to check the sheets it was still there . Shower head was nasty , the mat that sit in the tub was nasty and full of rust . There was blood on the sheets of the last room . The tub was running water from underneath the bottom. The overnight guy doesn’t speak English. The worst stay for the amount of money spent . Sorry the only help for my trouble was a half off for one night . I’m reporting to corporate.

I liked this hotel. It was quiet and the breakfast was good. Walkable to the fun area in NOLA. I am giving it 4 stars because of the bathroom. The shower was made for failure. Why in the world you put half glass door and when taking shower, all the water comes out to the floor. Plus the floor is wood and it is a disaster. Other than that, I liked the room because it is a studio style apartment. It has dishes, dishwasher, cookware, etc. Room was clean. Although the rug had some stains. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Nothing to write home about

I’ve stayed here previously. This time it felt a little different. The front desk staff wasn’t rude, but they were as friendly as the ones I’ve encountered before. Our remote control didn’t work we let them know the first day and was told maintenance would be up within a hour and they never came our whole stay we ended up having to add the remote to our phone to change the channel. There was also a roach in our room something we had never seen before in our previous stay. Overall the hotel is okay and in a great area

Location is great. Service was good too. Though the only good things about this place. The area is definitely unsafe, especially at night. But in all honesty, it’s very close to 5 star hotels too so not much to do about the area.. Breakfast was free but doesn’t have any real food. Even eggs tasted like powdered or something. No real food whatsoever for breakfast. Coffee was always old and bitter cause they keep reheating the same batch probably. I cannot stress enough how terrible the food was. I had to buy eggs from Walgreens and make my own breakfast. I’d only get bread from their breakfast. They didn’t even have real butter. I couldn’t even fry my eggs in my own kitchen. I had to boil them everyday because of the condition the pans were in. I couldn’t even use the sink in the kitchen cause the tip was covered in mold. Same goes for their bathroom’s sink and the mechanical room’s ceiling definitely had something going on too, with a strong smell coming from it. The whole room was very outdated and 2 star looking. It’s spacious but definitely everything was old, in bad and dirty condition. I won’t be back. You pay for a 4 star hotel but receive 2 star quality. Not worth it, spend a little extra and get a better hotel.

Comfortable stay

Older hotel but super comfortable beds & pillows. Small bathroom but clean. Nicely stocked kitchenette with full size fridge, dishwasher, and oven range. Staff were friendly. Did ask for extra towels and never git them.

Overall a great experience except for a few minor things. The location was great, easy access to public transportation and easily walkable to major attractions. The room was big, had a kitchen and a working fridge, freezer and microwave which was really convenient. The first issue was that housekeeping did not come at all during my 8 day stay so garbage piled up. Also, the water is very minimal after 10pm so if you come back after a long night out it’s very unlikely to catch a shower until the next morning. Overall a good stay would be great if these two issues did not occur.
