Absolutely horrendous service with this property. To be fully transparent we didn't even get to stay here. I reviewed service as 1 star and had to surmise that the rest of fhe property was probably equally poor. About a week before the trip I had a fraudulent charge on the credit card I used to reserve this room and I had to replace said credit card and the number changed. I received my new credit card approximately two days before my stay was to begin and I got a email the day before from Hotels.com stating that there was an issue with my credit card and I had 24 hours to resolve it and needed to call the property When I called the property, they told me that they canceled my reservation completely and could not reserve another room for me and this was one day before our flight was to depart. I had to spend about two hours or so at work that day rebooking another hotel at a higher price and Hotels.com and the property were absolutely no help. On this ground, I cannot recommend the hotel or hotels.com in the future

Expected better for the price
The lobby an front desk were kept clean. The room we stayed in was nice but the bathroom was outdated an had visible stains from the shower water because there is no door as well as hair in the tub. When it comes to eating , they only provide you with 2 forks, an no dish soap to wash them only dishwasher soap which is a waste for 2 forks. The bed an pillows were comfy. The outlets were all put in upside down so you have to force your plugs in.

The room itself was nice. I felt safe in the facility. The check in process was a nightmare and our room key did not work when we got to it. Maintenance had to change the pad. It was done quickly and we enjoyed the rest of our stay.

Well located within walking distance or easy streetcar ride of most everything. The express bus from the airport (the 202) stopped right outside. Breakfast was NOT good. Ran out of grits 2 mornings, the eggs were inedible. Staff was pleasant and they held our bags when we arrived and before we departed. The room was clean and large and had a kitchenette and full size fridge which was nice. I would stay here again, the value for the money is there, hotels in this town can be expensive

Property is conveniently located in the city. Close to attractions. I left some sports memorabilia in a bag on the kitchen table. Later I contacted the property and asked for the items. Staff stated nothing was left or found in my room 812. Sad that housekeeping is allowed to keep customers property that is forgotten.

Our room was not ready when we got there so they gave us a free upgrade to a penthouse suite with an amazing view. The location was convenient and just a short walk to the Superdome. There is also a parking garage next door to park in. All the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great location for walking to Superdome for sure and there is a parking garage you can pay to self park right next door. Was cheaper for us to park in garage since we were not there a full 24 hours. We were going to valet park but young guy at stand was so, let's just say , "blah" and dis-interested that it did not make us confident to leave our car with him. Room was big and was clean. Bathroom small but not bad. Water never got hot enough was only issue. Breakfast was good for on the go and had many choices and if you looked hard enough, you could find the healthy choices. Staff besides valet person we encountered were very nice. New policy of paying for upgrade to check in early I can understand for hotel to make more but perhaps a pro-rated fee could be offered for those that want - for example, offer a person pay $20 more if they get there an hour early and want to check in instead of make them wait for exactly 4p. Just an idea. Many like myself did not know exactly what time I'd arrive based on traffic, etc so did not want to buy into the early check in rate in advance.
