Ms Monique was such a pleasure! The hotel was super cute, love the bar and rooftop pool. My husband and I were able to walk everywhere from here during our stay.
The Jung Hotel and Residence is great for the price. We stayed in the executive king room which had a modern washer/dryer in the closet. We found this to be helpful and definitely used it. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes glassware pots. Fridge kept food cold. Good microwave. This was great when reheating our leftovers. There was an electric stove top but we didnt use it. The bathroom is spacious and clean. Front desk was nice. Valet guys were also nice. The lobby is clean and also spacious. I took away one star in all categories for the following reasons. When I needed to contact the front desk for extra towels, amenities or questions, no one answered. I had made several attempts and it kept ringing or would send me back to the previous menu. I had to go downstairs to the frontdesk for requests. After a long day, I really didnt want to have to run back down. Next, the beds were slightly uncomfortable (way too soft) and the pillows were flat and also too soft. Soft as in these pillows and beds have been around for along time. The sheets had black spots or stains and some holes. Overall the linens pillows and beds could use an overhaul. The walls are thin and you can hear everything that is happening in the hallway. Location-wise, it is in a great area close to everything. All in all I would probably come back again for a short stay.
This hotel was fabulous. While we’d read the positive reviews, it far exceeded our expectations. It was tasteful, well-appointed, lots of modern technology accomodations. A spacious lobby with tons of attractive seating options and lovely art too! Monique at the front desk was warm, inviting, and a great introduction to our NOLA stay and the Jung! We’ll be back! The artistic room keys picturing the Jung in it’s early days were a nice token as well.
Beautiful hotel with great lobby space. The room was well decorated with a modern design. The shower did not heat up our first day, which was difficult but it was working the next day.

My family and I had a wonderful experience during our stay. The hotel is beautiful..very clean and the rooms are one of the most spacious that I’ve stayed in.
The location is in walking distance to plenty of restaurants and shops on Canal and the French Quarters, which was convenient for us since we chose not to rent a car. There are also streetcars right outside of the hotel. I strongly recommend them as well.
If I had a complaint , it would be that the pool bar wasn’t open during our entire stay and the pool wasn’t heated, as advertised. (Neither were dealbreakers for us)
We will definitely be back the next time we’re in New Orleans!

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Terrible housekeeper. Knock at 8 ask when u gonna check out. No bottle water or kettle in the room. Luggage storage for a hour charges 8dollars and cash only.
I had never heard of this place but was pleasantly surprised. This is a great hotel. My family was pleased with the service and accommodations. We will be back.
The coffee shop was amazing! Large roof top pool (not heated). Very modern and clean inside. Location was PERFECT with the streetcar stop right outside the hotel. Easy walk to the French Quarter with lots of souvenir type shoppes on the way down Canal Street and others. We stayed Tuesday-Thursday right after Mardi Gras and never once felt unsafe or thought Bourbon Street area was "dirty". Everyone at the hotel, streetcar stops, Ubers and businesses we went to were sooooo nice and friendly with lots of tips on things to see and how to save money. Cajon Pride Swamp Tour with Big Joe was amazing--NOT a tourist trap! Blue Oak BBQ was absolutely divine and a gorgeous and easy walk down to the City Park. Then a quick streetcar ride back to this hotel. The alligator bites (half fried and half blackened) and corn dip at Mambos on Bourbon were worth going back to twice in our short stay. Can't wait to go back and stay longer!
