The guy at the front desk tried to help...I'll say that. My room was freezing for the whole time that my kids and i were there. There was also the little roach visitor that kept showing up. I was less than impressed.

Nice view and vibe! Great front desk staff especially at check in! I think her name was Rochelle but she was so polite even after my complaint of the tv not working and the valet app not working. She stayed on top of this issues being addressed. The breakfast was good as well.

I loved my stay at The Mercantile! The room was like a small suite with a living area that included a sofa (bed), tv, coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave. It was styled in a retro fashion with albums and a record player. The bed was in a separate room and it was so comfortable that I slept in late the next morning and skipped breakfast. Everything was clean. Last I would like to say that the staff was superb!! I have no complaints.

The staff was exceptional!!! From check-in, to restaurant recommendations, to service-bar, breakfast…everything! The valet attendant, Annie, was professional, personable! Only dislike was the hallway temperature and elevators need updating. Would ABSOLUTELY stay there again!

I loved this hotel! It's beautiful and the staff is top notch! What would have made it 5 stars? Cotton swabs and pads in the room, option for daily housekeeping, and hangers. The bath towels smelled funky and like tortilla chips. Did someone forget to add detergent?
