Will book this one again!

Convenient and quiet. The room was very cold, even with the unit turned off, but there were plenty extra blankets in the closet. The record player and old jazz LPs were a wonderful surprise. We immediately put one playing and enjoyed the ambiance.

The hotel was quiet during the one night I stayed there. The suite was quaint but perfect for my solo stay. The building is “historic” as are most of the buildings in this area, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel also offered free breakfast which consisted of grab and go options like fruit, muffins, tea and coffee.

Stayed here prior to Labor Day. I enjoyed walking about, sight-seeing, and dining out. The room had a separate living area complete with a turntable and records. There was a little bar complete with microwave and mini-fridge. Also a bar sink that came in handy. The bedroom was so quiet at night. There wasn't a view but the quiet was so nice and the bed so comfy. The front desk was so helpful.I would stay here again.

Way above and beyond service, price, location. The location has a continental breakfast listed but it's really more than that: real scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, variety of breads, yogurt, fruit, andvreal OJ: not that fake crap a lot of hotels serve. Wonderful/personable service

I honestly loved this place, with the exception that the free breakfast was mediocre at best - the first day we stayed, the eggs were okay, but after that they were inedible. The other items were okay, the breads were sometimes stale. I don't know if that would be different in the busy season, when things are being refreshed more often. Other than that, everything was great and it's in a perfect spot for what we needed, so we will happily stay there again and just plan to eat breakfast at the crepe place around the corner instead.

I had a single room on the 2nd floor. The room has great except that the shower water was not hot. Each time I took a shower. The water was lukewarm or cold. Other than that, I think the hotel is great! The room and property was clean. The room comes with a fridge and I think a microwave. There was also a sink, in the living room/ entrance way, as soon as you walk in your room. Walking distance(2 1/2) blocks from the convention center, and Starbucks and maybe 3-4 blocks from the outlet mall which is right by the river. I did walk from the hotel to the start of french quarter (10min/15min walk). It’s do able. Overall I would book this hotel again
