Location of the hotel is excellent. I love the history of the building and the food was outstanding. Our room lacked an attention to detail. Our room had paint splatters all over the floor. The shower tile had paint splatters and the room was very dusty. It seemed like construction had been done and not cleaned up after. Disappointed.

During our first night stay the hotel staff called our room at 4am with the wrong guest's name. They then questioned if we ever even checked into the hotel. I don't understand why this was something that couldn't wait until the morning. After that, our room was never cleaned for our entire visit.

The floors in the rooms are so so slippery. Booked 3 rooms here. All slippery floors and the wood floors creak. Ask for a quiet room, otherwise the walls are thin. Overall, comfortable beds, nice design, friendly staff. Convenient place to stay and chic lobby.
