The bed was too hard. The toilet would not drain or flush the last morning of my stay. 2nd night was supremely noisy with someone yelling in another room. TV was a bit tricky to operate though I figured it out. Great location but the room can be better.

Nice hotel, friendly service.
While not luxurious, this is a friendly, very clean, well run hotel in an ideal location in the seaside suburb of Tamsui. The rooms have fabulous views of the water & mountains. It is ideally located across from the subway station. The staff are friendly & go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. When asked about grab bars to install in a relative's washroom, the staff immediately took me to a wheelchair access room to show me what is available in Taiwan. The hot breakfast was good & plentiful. There was a good espresso machine in the dining room. The in room fridge was useful as was the free washer & dryer (complete with detergent & dryer sheets). While the bed was a bit firm, the room was clean & well maintained. The TV had CNN & HBO. I would definitely return.

Moldy bathroom...
Great location and nice view from the room. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast every morning was nice and many varieties. Rooms were okay in size. The carpet was kind of old. The bathroom was the worst, awful...mold everywhere, after the first day, we went out and bought Clorox and a spray bottle. We would have change hotel, but due to location (near metro) and relatives in the area we did not have other options, but make ourselves a little more comfortable with the accommodations during the week of our stay. Anyway, to make the long story short, a little Clorox made our stay a little better, although a lot still needed to be done, but we were able to cover the basics and try to ignore what bothered us throughout our stay. We understand that Taiwan is a tropical island therefore very humid, in spite of it, the management should keep the rooms and bathrooms in a better condition.

Location is good, it closes to MTR station and bus stops. My family room is on 10F, the view is okay. Breakfast is okay. Free washing machine, powder,and clothes dryer are available.

Nice hotel. Good location.
Further than I expected to walk to the mrt station but its still easily accessible. Stayed in the hotel as it is close to Danshui.

Small and expensive of the same rated hotel
Hotel is next to a super busy local road with lots of constructions going on. Hotel room is small and the facility is cheap for a three stars hotel. Bed and comforter are not comfortable at all. Free wifi and free breakfast are the selling point, otherwise this hotel is not convenience for traveler without cars. The Metro line is about five mins by walk and the staffs are extremely friendly. Few restaurant and one convenient store are nearby. For hotel this kind, I would consider it the same grade as Motel 6 in USA. However, the room rate is much more expensive in this class. A local hotel not really suitable foreign travelors.
