Dirty and noisy
The room and bathroom were filthy and smelled like cigarette smoke, and the space was noisy from both adjacent rooms and the elevated highway. This was one step above squalid.

Need new beds, mattress was worn out. Steets stuff on them and bed spread had holes in it. Toilet never stop running had to turn the valve off. Great view of the city.

Tolerable.
Smelled strongly of cleaning product trying to cover the strong smell of marijuana smoke. Yes I knew it was a smoking room, but that was all they had. Bedspread had a cigarette hole. AC/heater and BR fan have thick layer of dust fluff at vents. The sex furniture ottoman is an interesting touch. The neighborhood was sketchy. Still it was tolerable for a short notice stay for under 300. Without going to NJ.

The reviews on Expedia were grossly misleading about this property. We had a last minute need to stay over in NYC and choices were limited… Property is beside an overpass, which seems to be a very active late-night hang out/social spot. Holes in tiles/walls/electrical fixtures. Springs protruding from all perimeter of the bed, bedding is a throwback to 1970’s. Carpet and floor were dirty (visible hair all over the bathroom upon arrival). No scan/keycard required to enter the street side or elevator doors…
