I loved the location, my room was clean, it’s an older building so the room was small, the bed was comfy, there was a window ac unit, a desk, a small shower… there was not a fridge even though the description said there was. The location was great and super walkable. I would totally stay here again.

Room was older, but clean. Very tall ceilings. Could use new mattresses. Not comfortable and sunk in the middle. Staff were wonderful. Restaurant, Joe G's was excellent! Hotel was perfect location for us.

Great location and price is acceptable for the location. However, mildew in the bathrom is not acceptable. It is a bit older building, some rooms have terrible view. However, for a short stay in Manhattan, it is OK. Personnel is kind.

This is a basic hotel. Rooms are ok and clean. Bed comfortable. But air conditioning unit, bath tap / shower control and bathroom shelf in poor condition and sink plug not cleaned. The staff are very nice and helpful. It is very well located near Central Park.

The hotel really needs to update their saggy dated beds. We could not sleep all night because there was huge dip in the center of the bed that gave us back pain when we got up. We really only got the hotel to sleep at night and if we couldn’t even sleep properly at a hotel, there was no point staying at this one. Even though the hotel was mostly clean, their blinds were broken and I couldn’t close them, the curtains wouldn’t close properly and bed was in poor condition! It really defeated the purpose of us paying for a room to get a decent night’s sleep. Unless the hotel updates their broken, saggy and old beds, I would not be staying there again.

Nice rehab job. Web photo of lobby taken with wide angle lens makes it look spacious; not! A/C unit right next to bed froze me. Could have been installed an farther window. Although room had a micro fridge, the ice making section was encased with two inches of ice. No other amenities such as coffee maker. Only waste basket was in the bathroom. Shelf over bathroom sink was tilted forward and downward at an angle that made it useless. Lobby exit door to street and door between lobby and elevator area opened inwards. Fire hazard?
