Overnight desk clerk was rude when I called up to complain about there being either wine stains or blood on our sheets on both beds and on the wall. She made it seem as if I was lying and I gladly told her to come up or send someone up to see for themselves which she did and they verified. Morning manager was much nicer and accommodating.

Amazing! The staff, the rooms are so spacious! Everything is neat and clean… they did my beds all the entire week. The Door guys, specially Romeo are so polite and friendly🙏🙏🙏 I fall in love with this service, the property is very nice, it has everything really close, and the price was incredible! I though Inwas to spend more much money, and they really have great rates for my entire family of 5 was such a deal, the suite room was really big! I have not enough space here to write all the good things this place has! The employees were amazing!

Good location; helpful staff.
A small room and a smaller still bathroom, the latter lacked any grab bars, making the shower perilous. Accessing shampoo and soap is awkward. On the positive : The hotel staff and particularly the helpful doormen (Romeo, especially) will be remembered...outstanding!

The service was pretty good. The family room is quite large for New York. Our first room was not cleaned properly so they moved us very quickly to a nicer room. The room was dated and the pull out bed was in bad shape. However, the regular beds were very comfortable and clean. We were also given enough towels. We were on the 7th floor facing a brick wall and could hear the noise from the street. Not ideal for a light sleeper. We had a good rate so I would say you get what you pay for. Romeo was lovely and David was very helpful.

Great family weekend in NYC
My family had a wonderful stay at Fifty Sonesta! Our trip ended up being extended by two additional nights and the hotel was wonderful about allowing us to stay in the same room without any issues. The location is great, room size is big for NYC and very quiet as well. Definitely will rebook for our next trip!

Unfortunately the room we had was the most noisiest hotel room we have ever had in our life. The constant beeping of cars, trucks, sirens was ridiculous. Our bathroom door didn’t slide easy, shower head was broken, toilet only had one flush mode working, heating was broken. This was not cheap accommodation either. So when you are planning a trip to New York and actually want good accommodation please don’t make our mistake, make sure you get sound proof rooms.

This hotel was in an excellent location. Room was nice, bed comfy, large closet. Romeo was a gem for this hotel! We Bathroom is small, shower was tricky, and toilet clogged twice.

I was honestly disappointed with this hotel. It was extremely run down & didn’t really look like the photos. The staff were rude & not willing to really help too much. There wasn’t many restaurants nearby to choose from for family dining. The bathroom was tiny & shower took forever to heat up & then when it did the water wasn’t very warm. It was loud & just heard sirens all night. Lobby was tiny so constantly congested. Overall disappointing & not worth $550 per night
