Considering this is my first time staying in this hotel, there isn't anything I didn't like. I felt free to move around, utilize the gym, transportation, etc. The rooftop bar is a must. I didn't have more time to spend there, but the view and the music were awesome. B1

I loved how special the hard rock is to me especially growing up and understanding how legitimate the musical recognition is. I must say that despite housekeeping doing their absolute best nothing could take away the cigarette smoke smell that lingered through out my stay. I’ve never sneezed so much while trying to sleep and enjoy my stay. That was a huge bummer consider it’s a smoke free facility. Also for a hotel that’s renowned for their hospital, i did rot the facility about this being th first time to this single mom to come to New York and though its not customary to request special treatment and accommodation, I figured if anyone could make this trip extra special it would be the HR but despite me announcing several times our first NY experience and this being a super special occasion for my daughters birthday- nothing stood out. Not a single perk or acknowledgement from staff. That was a huge bummer cause I thought I could rely on HR to really go out of the way to make it extra special. I was really hoping for the HR to help out this single mom In really making this a special occasion my daughter. Something special would have made this a memorable occasion.

This was our first time in New York. There were so many options to choose from but we chose this hotel because of its location and it was a good choice. Literally 100 ft from time square. Close to Central Park. Close to subway stations. So the location was A . We arrived at 10am and asked for early check in and was told it was $200. $200 was half of what I was paying for a nights stay. But my family was tired from our flight so we bit the bullet and paid it so we could rest. But $200. I go to Vegas and get a room early and never get charged but I guess it’s NY. Our room was small. I don’t know what to compare it to but it was small to me. As far as things that I can compare the room to. Cleanliness A. Amenities A. View from our room F. Overall condition of room and hotel A. What can I say. There were two beds. They were comfortable. My room was clean. Other than the size of it. It was nice. We awoke from our nap and ventured out. The first thing you’ll encounter are those guys trying to sell you a tour pass on those sightseeing buses. I fell for the scam. Bought passes that I thought were valid for 24 hours but they ended up expiring after 12 hours so I paid for crap I didn’t use. These guys are all hard to understand and me being stupid paid for crap that I ended up not utilizing. That was on me. I should’ve been smarter about it so that’s on me. Walked around got some food. Took the tour. Came back and rested. Quiet. Bed was nice.
