Where do I start? The experience started off badly when our room was not ready for our 3 PM check in time. They ran over an hour late getting our room to us when we had an event to go to. When we finally got to our room, it was tiny, rundown, there were three horseflies flying around, our hotel door did not properly close, and our back balcony door did not lock (& is attached to the room next door who could have just entered our room through that door at any time). The shower was tiny and had absolutely no water pressure at all. It was basically a trickle of warm water. They told us they had laundry facilities on property, which turned out to be one working washer and dryer for the entire property of 21 floors of rooms. However, the staff was always friendly and seemed to want to help. Overall, this property is run down, dingey, & needs to be better maintained.

Restaurant was closed for a private party one night. Only two elevators, and when you stay on the top floor the wait can be endless to the point of being silly. But otherwise I like the location and the service.

We had a good stay. The lady at reception Daniella did not tell me about validating my ticket for parking. I ended up paying $80 more than I was supposed to and she was just not interested in hearing me when i spike to her. Disappointed in their customer service more specifically Daniella. Everyone else was great and very helpful

Excellent location. Within walking distance of Grand Central Station and the Theater District. One bad thing - one elevator was out of service for days and this in a hotel with 21 floors. Only one elevator worked - very inconvenient. Hope that was an unusual circumstance.
