It is great for the price paid for a room in this area. Breakfast area is very busy but it is expected. You should be able to find a chair to sit if you come before 7 am. They had bread, scrambled eggs, fried potato, juice, banana, sweet yogurt and muffins (plus a few other things) every day of my stay. They only major issue I saw was that they had a very little hot water bowl for tea and it was almost always empty. Luckily, I had my kettle with me and I boiled my own water and carried in a tumbler. Based on some reviews I read prior to my visit, I expected to see one of them broken and the other one slow, but I was very happy to see that both elevators were functional and fast.

We liked the location as was close to lots of places we wanted to visit. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside for us was that the beds were quite uncomfortable and the furniture quite worn.

The only complaint is the elevators so small of a Capacity for the amount of guest, they host. Deven at the front desk is an amazing man! Extremely helpful And courteous and very knowledgeable! The staff that does the breakfast and cleaning and cooking or exceptionally nice as well. Overall experience was great. I will definitely come back and stay there.

Hotel.com cancelled my reservation as a cash grab
It started as soon as I got there the manager told me that hotels.com had cancelled my reservation as of 12 PM day of. Hotels.com did not have the decency to email or call me to tell me there was a problem with my booking but instead chose to just cancel my reservation so that I had to rebook it with them again at a higher rate which is complete utter garbage. they tried to take money for the first night without notifying me although I said I was going to pay at the location. They try to say that my credit card didn’t go through or wasn’t working when no transaction went through and they were doing it a day in advance. (Which was NOT detailed on the confirmation) I only got an email saying that my room was cancelled on the day reservation when I was already at the hotel, very disappointed with Hotels.com. I’ll do Michelle manager at the time rebooked my room at the same fee. I was appalled that Hotels.com try to make me rebook on their site for double the price. Just put me in a foul mood and not only was my hotel shower with low pressure but also no hot water Michelle accommodated for the first night stay and also validated my parking for the night as a courtesy but could not get a new room and we could not get water pressure.

The employees were very professional. Nothing extra about the hotel but it was a in a safe location, at a 'good' price for New York and they store your luggage if you arrive before the check in time.

Typical New York accommodations meaning that the room was cramped. Located a few blocks from Times Square and on a not so busy street. No microwave in the room and bad TV reception.

They politely held my bags before I was able to check in for a few hours so I could walk around the city. They provided multiple nice bottles of nice Dove soap in the bathroom & we got a cute little goodie bag when we checked in as well. Very close to Times Square & very worth it. (The water pressure in the shower also impressed me)

Even allowing for the fact that NYC is a much friendlier town than it usually gets credit for, the staff here were a delight to deal with. The only real change I'd make is one I'd also make to a number of other hotels in the area, which is to add a few more elevators.
