We loved the Rum House that was located near the lobby. Checking into our hotel was terrible… we were supposed to have express check in but because we had two connecting rooms, their kiosk wouldn’t allow for it and then we had to wait about 30 minutes to get our room key. There were no shampoos or conditioners or soap when we first arrived into our room. Considering we were right by Times Square, there is some siren noise but a lot less than I was expecting. Breakfast was great!

The property is old and desperately in need of renovations. The shower head over the bath is fixed and isnt powerful at all...just better than a trickle. The ac is too loud and has no control over the level...it's on or off. Its constantly busyin the lobby area and somewhat chaotic. The "free" breakfast is a joke....a grab and go service where you can't have coffee and juice....one or the other. The sandwich / breakfast roll option....look like theyre recycling the rolls from the night before. If you wanted to sit down its $6.50 for the privilege and you still only have the same options. The positive is the location of the hotel. Right there on 47th and Broadway and and entry on 46th too.

The only negative was the grab and go breakfast. Coffee drinkers only received half a cup of coffee. When they asked the staff for more they were told no. The lobby was extremely busy at 3:30 with check in. Few people opted for the self check in which made that line very short and check in was easy.

I picked hotel Edison because of the location. Extremely close to Times Square. Unfortunately the room wasn’t very big and didn’t match the pictures on the website. The room didn’t have a dresser to place clothing. The only option was a small closet with hangers and a couple shelves. The carpet was in need of replacement and the walls could use some work. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom look like it was recently refurbished. The staff was friendly.

The shower open and off valve located on back wall that I bumped every time I took a shower. Water leak at door after shower. Dusty in the air conditioner vent. Carpet and pillow cover had a little bit smell . But more importantly I had a good night sleep.

The staff and location were great. Bed was very comfortable and considering how close we were to Times Square, it was very quiet. Our room; however, would have been better if the outlets worked. At first we thought our cords just broke on the way, but when they still didn’t work after we purchased a new charging cord and power cube, we knew it was the outlets. We were on vacation so not being able to charge our phones was stressful since we needed it for directions and to keep in touch with family. Still had a good time. Bond 45 was delicious.

Great area! And rooms are quiet despite being right in Times Square. Staff is amazing!!! Got a free upgrade to a suite. The grab and go breakfast is efficient and tasty.

Was ok.
Felt the breakfast arrangements were not as good as they can be and at times got too busy. There were times when someone left without a coffee because it was too long a queue. The concierge service was not available during certain days which I find surprising particularly during peak holiday season. Also leaving two shower bottles for a family of five all the time needs some thought. Surroundings of the hotel were smelly.
