Great Hotel. I wish we would have had the opportunity to experience the rooftop balcony but the weather did not allow. The waitress in the bar was super nice and helpful. The room was smaller than we imagined but it was understandable since we were in the city. Overall a great stay.

The only thing I would say is that the fire alarm went off at 3:00 am the first morning at the hotel, and no messages were sent to the rooms with a false notification.

Excellent location. Close to Bryant Park and subway. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean, beds and pillows were comfortable. Only suggestion is better lighting in the room - the room was very dark.

Our experience at the hotel was disappointing. Throughout our stay, piles of dirty laundry were often stacked on carts by the main entrance. The room was too small for two people, the lobby felt cramped, and the common areas were in need of maintenance. The overall condition of the property was quite disappointing. I would recommend staying somewhere else in the area, there are plenty of options.

Orin from the front desk went above and beyond to ensure that I didn't miss my early morning meeting. I asked for a wake up call, which came as scheduled. But I couldn't figure out how to answer the call, for some reason. Eventually, I had to take the phone off the hook to stop it from ringing. Orin then sent someone up to knock on my door to make sure I was up. That's excellent service! That;s someone who cares about their guests.

The room was not comfortable, I was not even able to walk in the room. The space was so limited. I couldn’t sleep well, is was really noisy. I wake up late, cuz’ everytime I was trying to fall asleep the housekeeper was walking around and making a hell of noise. I finally went down, And on my way out I requested my room to be done, and I came back tired of walking around and shopping. I needed to take a hot bath. I couldn’t because they did the room but they didn’t leave any form of towels, none. So I went down to the lobby and explained to the guy in the front. He just said, you need towels. Not Even,,, ooh apologies Sr. I’ll send it right away. I was going to show him a video I took from the bathroom, so he could see what I was trying to explain, and again asked, Do you want towels? So no, I’m afraid I won’t recommend this place. Avoid it.

I was charged an amenity fee upon arrival, a first time ever for me, a $45/night surprise. It was also the first time where there was no gym, no laundry, no breakfast, no pool, no lounge, basically no amenities. There was a bar and restaraunt where you can pay for food though. A fire alarm happened early in the morning one time, which can't be helped I suppose... but they didn't mention anything about it afterwards at all, there wasn't any e-mail, note under the door, saying "sorry for the inconvenience being woken up by a blaring alarm forcing everyone huddled about in the cold for close to an hour", as if that's a normal thing that happens, they most certainly did not issue any concession or rebate. Room was miniature also for the base price I paid. A pretty bad experience over all, I certainly will not be back.
