Excellent location for exploring Manhattan - close enough to walk north to Times Square or south to Greenwich Village. Bountiful breakfast spreads, which were greatly appreciated.
The location is great.
The breakfast was very poor and served with paper plates and that is very low, no variety at all.
I paid extra to have a city view and was great, but the rooms are very small. I don’t think is worth paying that much for such hotel.
I got the sense that everyone working at the hotel is friendly and making an effort, but unfortunately that doesn’t change my overall experience being a negative one.
For starters, an important package I had delivered to the hotel went missing and there was no record of it in their log. It was only after I started kicking up a fuss and reviewing camera footage that it miraculously turned up. It had somehow been taken up to the restaurant by another staff member without ever being logged.
This drama aside, I had a few other negative experiences. Multiple requests for a shaving kit from the front desk that came far too late. Long waits for the elevator and frustrating rides on an elevator that was far too full.
The view from the room is good and the space is clean, but these negatives were enough for me to rule this option out in the future.
This hotel was pretty fine for what I needed. Location is superb.
My room was very small (great view, though) and had a wardrobe/hanging space of around 6 inches only. Not one single drawer in which to unpack anything which made it feel even more cramped.
Rooms very clean, bathroom decent though again, no drawers.
Hotel breakfast was ok, repetitive and hot food was only ever warm but it did the job.
The main issue with this hotel is the elevators. Absolute nightmare. I gave up and used the stairwell which was manageable as I was tenth floor, would have been impossible on the high floors.

Overall, the hotel room was very clean and did the job. The breakfast was very nice. We ran into problems with the elevator. It took so long for the elevators to get to our floor. We even had to walk down at one point because the elevator didn’t come for 20 mins. Thankfully we were on the 9th floor. Tv channels didn’t work, and the toilet flusher kept getting caught.

Defiantly not a 4 star hotel. I would rate it a 3 star.
Great breakfast. Great view. Love the double shades on the windows. Friendly and helpful staff both in the breakfast hall and at the front desk.
Four elevators available to stop at each floor, but without a light indicating which door opened... requiring one to quickly pace down the hall to see if one had opened.
Overall the stay was great with two exceptions. Excellent walkable location and one block from the subway. Even with my complaint below I’d absolutely stay here again with lessons learned.
The fire alarm went off which can happen but we found the communication to be poor. We were told to wait in our rooms but after 7-10 mins of no communications we called down. Regular intercom announcements would have be appreciated.
Don’t use the shuttle service for the airport. We spent an hour driving around 5 blocks picking people up which took over an hour. At JFK the driver missed our terminal which added another 20 mins. We were told while signing up it would take about 90 mins but all in it took 2.5 hours. Very stressful.
We were a family of four in one room with double beds. Yes the room is tiny, but very comfortable! If you can’t stand to be in tight quarters with your travel companions or family members then book 2 rooms or stay elsewhere, but the place is in a great location with beautiful views from the high floors. Our weekend away was wonderful!
the room was awesome, beautiful room and pretty good view. The lobby needs work though, the bathroom being downstairs, and the elevators would take a long time. But since what matters its the room, it was a good time.
