Small, elegant hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast. Room was quit small, but not really an issue. Would be nice to have a coffee machine / kettle for coffee/tea in the room.

Staff were great, very helpful and friendly! I should have known being so close to Times Square, but our window in our 5th floor room opened to the 5th floor of the noisy restaurant next door. The only tv was streaming services, no live/local tv for sports.

Most or all king bed rooms are connected to another room. The connecting doors are obviouly not sound proof. You will feel like strangers are in your bed talking and doing other business, if you know what I mean…

Great place
I took my son here for his 16th birthday trip. The hotel was perfect because it is super close to Times Square yet far enough away to make you not feel you are right in the middle of the chaos. Room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff could not have been nicer. Definitely recommend!

Rooms are small if you only book a queen. Having no refrigerator was not great. I like to keep waters and juice around. The food in the restaurant is not very good. Coffee is awful. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nicely appointed with Italian bath products. Staff is very nice.

After probably 20 trips to Manhattan, we have never stayed at any hotel where the staff was as friendly, accommodating, professional and committed to our comfort and fun. We truly appreciated getting to know our restaurant server, Sebastian. He was delightful and helpful throughout our stay. He is an asset to Merrion Row which is a quaint, yet wonderful facility. The location is great as are the accommodations. We appreciated the opportunity to talk with the manager/owner one morning during breakfast (which was one of many excellent meals we had in the restaurant).

Loved the hotel! Closed to Time Square, has a lot of places to eat at near by, small but very cute and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the room it very spacious to be a NYC hotel in Times Square. Absolutely recommend!

Great location, easy to walk everywhere and/or take the subway. Hotel was very cozy, clean rooms and great amenities.The room was small but that was ok with us because we were out all day. The staff was great, super friendly. The evening shift receptionists helped my boyfriend set up a surprise on the room for me! Would totally come back!

Great hotel and very convenient location. It’s next to an Irish pub that can get loud overnight so if you can get a room towards the back of the hotel that would be perfect! Otherwise nice size rooms and updated bathrooms plus comfy beds !

A hidden gem of Irish charm in a popular location of NYC. The staff make you feel at home and the Irish bar food options are class. Order an Irish coffee for an a great end to the night. I will be back.

I really liked the Merrion. The hotel is small but nice. The staff seemed very friendly and eager to please. We ate two lunches at the restaurant and the food was good too. We will stay there again! The only negative is that the thermostat in our room kept turning off on its own, we didn't tell the hotel because we noticed it late and night and just wanted to go to bed.

Nikki, the overnight concierge was great and very personable. Charming sleeping quarters, very clean and tidy. I loved that the hotel itself was in close proximity to a lot of tourist attractions and nightlife. Would certainly consider Merrion Row for a future stay.

I was double charged for breakfast on my last day. They charged my husbands card and then later that day I was alerted the exact amount was charged to my cc on file for the room. I tried to call the number to the hotel multiple times and it was a busy signal everytime.

An oasis of calm in the heart of NYC
The moment I stepped in I was shocked by how much quieter Merrion Row was than other hotels I’ve stayed at in NYC. Also the $25/day food credit in their excellent restaurant is such a great perk. I tried several things on the menu and they were all great. Staff is a delight, coworking space is awesome. Hotel room was well appointed. I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience of the value.
